Camel and Jeep Safari was an amazing experience. It's a must do activity. Recommend to book via Balaji travels. They planned everything perfectly.

We had a great day trip visiting first a textile warehouse and then a temple. Then we rode the camels to the home village of the owner of the animals and met his friendly family, with whom we later ate. At last we rode back again during the sunset. It was really nice to get to know the area and was a lot of fun. Thanks for this nice trip!

We were hosted by Chhotaramji for this tour and this tour was the highlight of our trip . Right from the pick up , to all the Knowledge shared in our journey , the spotting of the black buck family and every possible animal we could see in that area , the visit to the potters house and the demonstration and experience of doing it hands on by ourselves , the durry weaving experience and the most delicious meal that we ate on the trip - everything was just spot on. The experience helped us root back to the different Indian cultures of different states . If you are in Jodhpur , this activity / trip is a MUST do . You will take back only happy memories and lasting experiences .

I took this tour yesterday, and am very glad I did. I opted for both an English speaking driver AND English speaking tour guide. This pushed the price up, but I have found it useful in my solo travel in other places.the guide was great, I enjoyed him, and he was only with me for the first half of the day. It was nice to have a guide inside the monuments to explain everything. Probably not necessary as audio tours are available in multitude of language. I did not regret having a guide though. My able and friendly Driver Ray then drove me to ossia for a camel safari. This was an odd experience. 45 minutes across the arid land (beautiful) to a family compound/village. I was to have lunch there, which I did, after waiting basically alone for nearly an hour sitting under tree. Just odd. Eventually, a really excellent lunch was served in the house, but I was again, alone. I think this would have been ok and fun if I was not travelling alone. It was just, well, a little awkward.
Overall, I really loved the day, enjoyed my driver Ray a great deal, loved the tour, and would recommend again and again!

This tour conducted by Prajapati family gives a good insight into the rural life of Bishnoi and other communities residing in different villages. We also saw from close quarters, peacocks, peahen, kingfisher, deer, blackbuck and blue bull. We also enjoyed doing some pottery and witnessed block printing and rug weaving by village artisans. It was a very enjoyable experience. The tour ended with village food cooked on slow fire. which was a treat.
Our escort & guide, Ashok Prajapati, was very courteous, well versed with the history of the place and took us to all the right places so that we could cover so much in just about 5-6 hours.
He also offers homestay facilities, which seemed quite comfortable, though we did not stay there.
The family also makes dhurries of cotton, coir and camel wool, using natural colors. the designs were very attractive.
    Highly recommend this tour.

Had an excellent day with Ashok as our guide walking us through the different aspects of village life and the different crafts and trades that are well and truly alive. Ashok picked us up at our hotel in Jodhpur and drove us about an hour away from the city where we spotted some black bucks and then further on to craftsmen in different villages. We got to see (and do!) block printing, pottery and weaving and then finished up with a lovely home cooked meal at the Prajapati family residence. They also have the facility of a home stay which we hope to enjoy on our next trip!

Went there for a day trip. The camel ride to the Dhaani was an enthralling experience. It's a fairly long ride, around 30-35 mins, and you will be able to soak in the desert flora and fauna on the way. You may also see Nilgais, although they run away immediately.
After reaching, we were ushered inside a hut, to freshen up and rest for a bit. We were soon invited inside the house for a home made lunch, which was AWESOME..!! The Kadhi was probably the best I have ever had. Dhannaram Ji's wife is an excellent cook and a gracious hostess.
Overall it was a great experience, would highly recommend this for a day trip. We also came to know that they have a homestay as well, we'll definitely try that out in our next visit

Rishi was absolutely great. He is very efficient and drives his tuk tuk safely. He also looks out for you by providing helpful tips about tourist traps and where to look out for pickpockets. Very easy to chat with and not pushy at all. It was a great way to get around the city, see all the sights and bot have to worry about getting back to my hotel. If you need a tuk tuk, go with Rishi!
