Mehrangarh Fort is a beautiful, expansive and well-maintained historical fort complex in Jodhopur. The fort complex is built by Rajput Ruler on a hilltop. There is lift facility to take the tourist at the top floor of the fort, which is a welcome facility. While walking down, the tourists can explore the various sections of the fort. The entry fee is Rs. 200 for Palace and Rs. 100 for lift per pax, which can be bought at entry point. The fort complex is quite big and encompasses courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and houses several heritage artifacts, which is worth viewing. In addition, the appealing architecture of the fort also provides the visitors glimpses of royal living. One can spent sufficient time in exploring the various sections of the fort and viewing the interesting artifacts. The fort also provides lovely view of Blue City. A guide may be helpful to appreciate the beauty and associated history of the fort. The fort complex also houses some eateries and souvenir / gift shops. A visit to this historical fort is must while in Jodhpur.

The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located near to the Meharangarh Fort. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and it serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar. The cenotaph is built out of intricately carved sheets of Makrana marble. The cenotaph's grounds feature carved gazebos, garden, and a small lake. The entry fee is Rs. 30 per pax. Inside, there is nothing much to explore. A quick visit while visiting the fort may be made.

It is located next to Jaswant Toda. A good place to explore in nature. There are some trails to explore the park and observe the surrounding natural beauty. Early morning visit is recommended to enjoy the natural beauty under cool and calm weather.

Excellent. Must do this tour. It’s a private tour and not of the typical places but more meandering nooks and crannies. Bantu is very knowledgeable and kind. It’s the perfect length and the perfect amount of information.

A small portion of majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur is turned into a museum, while other major parts have been turned into Luxurious Hotel and residence of royal family. Interestingly, the current royal family of Jodhpur still lives in the palace. Barring museum section, entry to other sections is barred for general tourists. There is an entry fee of Rs. 60 per pax for museum. The museum is well maintained and displays the antiques belonging to the maharajas and the royal family that includes cutleries. paintings, arms and ammunition etc. The complex also displays collection of vintage cars. The place also offers a closer view of the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace. At the entry point, small eateries are available for quick refreshments. A trip to the palace museum may be made to view the olden days o the maharajas and closure look at Umaid Bhawan.

Situated in the middle of busy and crowded market palace, parking may be an issue too. Visited the Ghanta Ghar / Clock Tower couple of times while visiting the market. The clock tower has a nice architecture. One can walk around to get a feel of old Jodhpur city life / crowd.

Nice, quiet place to relax after the busy city of Jodhpur. The museum was nice to see, and the cenotaphes were beautiful. The train in the garden was a bit stupid since it only stopped at the Temple and museum and not at the cenotaphes... so We had to walk back again! Some places were not so well maintained...
