    Top-notch adventure in the desert
    This tour was exceptional – well planned, with welcoming staff, delightful cuisine, and cozy desert tents that perfectly balance comfort with the thrill of adventure. We left our luggage at the Jaisalmer main office before embarking on a desert journey with a friendly driver. The camel ride was fantastic, complemented by an evening of dance and music. Following a delicious Indian breakfast in the desert, we returned to Jaisalmer, where they arranged an extra city tour for us.

    Remote trip to beautiful dunes
    We wanted to do a trip into the dunes that meant we were going to isolated, away from people but with proper nice dunes. It is probably the key ingredient is nice dunes. The place pleasant haveli has chosen is perfect. Huge dunes in the middle of nowhere, nature as far as the eye can see. Of course you want a great team looking after you too and again pleasant haveli was a winner. Our team consisted of Uka, Denis and Puna. They had everything working like clockwork. You read a lot about best experience.... But it really was a super experience.

    100% recommend this trip
    Absolutely fantastic trip! Well worth it. The camel trek was so fun and it was brilliant sleeping under the stars (proper wild camping - so be prepared). The food was really nice and it was great to sit, eating around the camp fire. The camel driver was fantastic at his job. Would 100% recommend.

    One of the greatest experiences I ever had!!
    This desert safari experience was one of the greatest things I have ever done. From the very beginning the service of Dilip and his staff was professional and great. I told him what I ak looking for and he offered just the right package for an absolute reasonable price. No scam, no hassle.
    We were a group of 6 people from all of over the world and were accompanied by 4 guides who took care about the camel ride, jeep ride, food etc. The guys were amazing, funny, very hospitable and even great singers!! We had a bonfire, dinner and suddenly they started singing. I felt so contempt and i am happy that I chose to join this safari.
    Thanks again for such an amazing experience!!

    Unforgettable experience
    Me and my partner did this sunset safari with Pleasant Haveli and highly highly recommend! We were able to enjoy the same experience as the overnight safari but were still able to come back to the hotel at night and sleep and shower. They let us choose whichever time we would like to leave the desert so there wasn’t any pressure to rush off, despite the fairly long drive back to Pleasant Haveli. Our guides were fantastic (I’m so sorry but I’ve totally forgotten their names as we did this about a month ago!) and we laughed, joked, sung and ate with them. They were so friendly and accommodating and just genuinely want to make sure you are enjoying your time. The camels seem well cared-for, the dinner was delicious and the view of the stars at around 9pm was absolutely beautiful! They made sure they took us to a proper sand dune (sometimes the dunes other companies take you to aren’t so great) and the sunset views were breathtaking.

    Only thing I would suggest to people booking this is that you bring some tip money. A young child came with us to take the camels back once we had got to the dunes (you take camels into desert and jeep back out), we only brought a small amount of money with us and he held his hand out asking for tip before he left so it’s clear it was expected. We then had no money left to tip the tour guides which was a shame, so bring some change, it’s worth the tip!

    Out of 1 month spent travelling India this was the best thing we experienced and I could not recommend it enough.

    Romantic journey into the desert
    This tour exceeded our expectations. Jeetu was an excellent guide and took care of us during our private tour. From pick up at our hotel to the drop off we were treated with the best of care. Breath taking scenery, a once in a life time experience . The camel ride was unreal and the guide was extremely informative. The meal cooked in the desert after the camel ride was first class. Don't hesitate to book this tour, it won't disappointment.

    Great fun guide
    We had an excellent time with Harish-he was fun, easy going and informative. I felt we got to really experience this beautiful city. The architecture is amazing. I told him I was interested in vintage textiles and he brought us to a wonderful store where I purchased some treasures. We would never had found this on our own. He also took us to a delicious restaurant with the best food and lovely view of the fort.
    The following day Harish took us to Bada Bagh- (do not miss this exquisite ruin) . He also set up a sunset camel ride including dinner . It was expensive but worth the money as it was very private and we felt we were alone in the desert.. except for our lovely camel driver who made us a delicious dinner including homemade chapatis on an open fire .
    Harish really made our trip very special- a visit we will never forget! Thank you Harish!

    The best
    There are a lot of companies offering Camel Safari and desert trips in Jaisalmer. We did our research and chose Wanderlust because of the amazing reviews and I’m glad we did. We were picked up in our hotel in a comfortable clean truck, our group was small just 4 in total. Our guides were very helpful and the guesthouse even let us store our luggage, take showers, and stay in the hotel when we returned even though we weren’t guests there. 5 star provider

    A soulful visit
    I visited Jaisalmer with my friends. And we planned to stay in the Thar desert overnight. It was something that I wanted to do since a long time. We booked it from Marvin camel safari. The package included overnight stay and other arrangements in the dunes. E.g bedding, tea/coffee, dinner arrangements, drinking water, and next morning breakfast.
    After the camel ride in the evening. We had tea and snacks in the dunes and witnessed beautiful sunset. Slept in the dunes, it was an amazing experience, I had never done anything like this before. We sang songs sitting at the bon-fire.
    Woke up to the morning and saw moonset and sunrise at the same time. It was a great experience all together. Thank you Marwin camel safari.

    The best safari ever
    A very good safari experience. This one must be one of the best ones in the area. We were a small group and we haven't met a single soul out there, it was very private, cozy, and felt like real wilderness. The food was great, sleeping outside as well. 10/10 I recommend!

    STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
    Strongly recommend a tour with lalu ji. His knowledge of the place is immense and his ability to convert the knowledge into words and explain the same to tourists is amazing. He shares so many insights and he knows the place so well, that it is like being part of the history yourself. Also he has an amazing sense of humor that keeps you engaged through out. He is well known in the town and he makes you one of them. He even helped us with the famous local eateries and guided us with local shopping.

    Lovely night in the Thar
    We have recently returned from our trip with Fifu Camel Safaris. Even before we booked Fifu was so helpful in answering my many queries. Does who was our guide for the duration was lovely, very polite and informative thought our time out in the desert. He really looked after us and nothing was to much trouble. The camp is lovely, the camels seem very well looked after and the food and entertainment was great. On our return we had time before catching our bus out of Jaislmer and Fifu kindly let us sit in hotel and enjoy a coffee. We would definitely recommend you booking your trip with them.

    A magic night in the desert
    Thanks to James, Neymar and the rest of the guys I had an unforgettable night in the desert. The silence and the calm that I felt cannot be described, it was magical. I totally recommend this trip and I would happily do it again.

    Nice overnight safari
    Nice and enjoyable experience: travel on a jeep to remote location to switch on camel ride, then wonderful dinner made afresh on fire, enjoying the desert views, and finally stargazing till falling asleep . Special thanks to our driver/guide Arun, who made our stay (together with camel master Premal) unforgettable. All family enjoyed much a nd can only recommend. Just do not forget some suitable dress, nights are cold :)

    Very good experience
    Very good experience! We did the camel ride and slept in the camp. Staff is very nice and friendly, especially James. Highly recommend!
