My husband and 3 friends took a 2 day bespoke guided tour of Konark and Bhubaneswar through 5 senses. I handled the booking part and it was a pleasure dealing with them. Very prompt communication, accommodating our needs and perfect arrangements. The guide was punctual, polite and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the trip great. Will 100% recommend using the company for such tours.

Sun temple has a very rich history which would be interesting to hear for anybody.

The temple has hundreds of statues, each depicting the different aspects of life back then

We went for beach camping at New Years. What to say everything was just perfect. From the traditional food in brass thalis, to the deserted tranquil beach and to the amazing people who took care of us! The Gundalba beach is surprisingly very clean, it's very remote and hence the tranquility. The people at the camp were very helpful and the food was delicious. The best time was the evening with a little breeze from the beach, lying on a hammock with my book. Guys! It's a once in a lifetime thing to be there. Don't miss out!

Today we had the honour to visit Bibhu Maharana sir's house, it was such a privilege watch him paint and teach us the intricacies, techniques and authentic colour creations of Pattachitra. He fed us lunch and told us many stories.

When I asked him, when people copy his work, does he feel bad? He smiled and said my work is to create, I don't think beyond that. I don't think if I will earn money, I don't think if my work is better or worse than others, I definitely don't think what if someone copies my work. I create, that's how God made us, to create. Not to compete or compare.

This workshop was organised by Gilherio, Bhubaneswar. I will request all Odisha based artists, and beyond to take this workshop once. Not to learn art, but to learn the humility and knowledge a person requires to be an artist. ❤️

Excellent weather despite peak summer...Chilka Lake and Konark temple apart from Chandrabagha beach stood out as outstanding. There were Odisi dance performances at Lingaraj temple and was out of the world

Place of Lord Jagannath. The place is usually crowded be it day Or night. You will get darshan n max time taken will be 30minutes.While visiting Temple never carry mobile. You can wear chappals. This will reduce one que for depositing mobile in vault n save time. Enter from rear entrance West gate. You can keep chappals nearby. No one will take them. Have fulfilling darshan of Lord Jagannath. When you exit than please visit Anand Bazaar. This is place where you buy Bhogh prepared in temple. Belief is that Mata Laxmi supervises bhog preparation. So do not miss that. Taste no five star restaurant can provide. Awesome. Also u can purchase dry prasad for carrying. Khaja tastes best. Also lots of variety. Do not miss anand bazaar and Mata Laxmis food.

Udaygiri caves are very beautiful. Easily accessible. There is a little to climb over small hillocks. There is a ramp as well as stairs. But not recommended for people in wheelchairs or with a bad back.
The guide Mr. Pradhan did a fine job explaining the history and special nuisances of the place.
We did not go to the temple opposite the caves. Too many steps to climb.

The heritage bhubaneswar walk was a wonderful experience. Our guide prabhat was enthusiasm and knowledge personified. We had a great time listening to the stories from a bygone era. The temples of Rajarani and Lingaraj had spectacular architecture. It was a great way to get an understanding of the city's heritage. I would very highly recommend this walk with Five Senses tours.

Every temple in BBSR has a story to tell.. If you can hear it... Sit with stones in the temples... give them your ears.. And they will start sharing there stories... You can feel Shiv in every temple here ... Amazing place to spend time.

Visiting the dance studio, learning about classical Indian dance, and watching the dancers was the highlight of our trip to India thus far. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who is into the arts or dance.

Gopalpur was a quaint seaside town and its rustic charms were calming. Konark was breathtaking, whole temple complex was made like a replica of a huge chariot. Mindboggling architecture . The tour operator is very helpful in case of any need and further travel requirements
