What travellers are saying
- AmodMumbai, India112 contributionsOf all the Zoos we have visited Nandankanna takes the cake.
The entire landscape is very well manicured, clean & well kept. Ensure you hire a guide who will help you manouver through the vast expanse of the Zoo. The guide can be seeked at the time of taking the Entrance Ticket.
The Zoo has the famous White Tiger which is a sight to watch. Ofcourse they have teh fiersome Lion & a large collection of the Tiger. There are a hots of Animals - you can decide what all you want to see & inform the guide. A brisk pace of covering the Zoo and seeing all animals requires atleast 2 hours.

The stupa needs painting and some minor renovation done around it.Written 27 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- mysvarNugegoda, Sri Lanka122 contributionsThe premises and gardens are immaculate. Not an easy task in this environment. The exhibits are divided amongst five separate rooms labeled clearly spacious to walk around and making it more comfortable is the fact that its air conditioned. Receptionist was well informed and welcoming.
The shop however where souvenirs were sold was disappointing.Written 18 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AmodMumbai, India112 contributionsWe visited the Lingaraja Temple on a Saturday morning. However it wasnt crowded to our pleasant surprise. The Darshan was also very satisfying. You will be approached by the local Pandits / Pandas but stay focussed & dont succumb to whatever they say - unless ofcourse you really wish to perform the Puja of the Lord. Our purpose was more to take the Darshan and seek blessings!
