We visited this temple on our short visit in Pune.
We took an auto and they charged 100 rs to reach this temple from station.
And nice temple ,photos are allowed inside to take .
This temple is nearby famous Laxmi market as well ,so it's quite crowded and people come and go.

This is the most visited place in pune for trekking. People of all ages can come and enjoy the scenic view.
If you are going to pune, this should be a must in your itinerary.
They now have small shops who provide kanda bhaji and parathas etc. Food may not be hygienic but taste good.
You can trek if you have energy and old age can also enjoy but initial uphill can be challenging for them.
There are ample places for parking and in the fort you can play freebie and football. At the parking lot there are many stalls where you can have vadapav, pav bhaji and other stuff. Ice cream vendor is also present.

Pune Okayama Garden is a meticulously maintained oasis, albeit the entrance fee is somewhat steep. The ambiance truly transports one to the heart of a traditional Japanese garden, evoking an authentic sense of tranquility and serenity. The overall atmosphere is immensely soothing, and taking a leisurely stroll around the expansive grounds is both a delightful and invigorating experience.

The garden is generously adorned with numerous picturesque spots perfect for photography, allowing visitors to capture the essence of its serene beauty. The lush greenery and the carefully curated landscape offer an unparalleled opportunity to immerse oneself in nature's calm, quiet embrace.

A special mention must be made of the thoughtful design elements, which echo the elegance and simplicity characteristic of Japanese gardens. Whether you seek a moment of contemplation or simply wish to enjoy the serene environment, Pune Okayama Garden is a sublime retreat that leaves a lasting impression.

Pune is famous for Hills and Forts which all are located in Western Ghats, Out of which Lonavala, Khandala, Mahabaleshwar, Panchagani and Matheran are famous. We can enjoy Western ghats view from these hill stations. From all above mentioned hill stations we can enjoy panoramic view of lush greenery western ghats. Nature lovers would simply love this western ghats views.
The range runs north to south along with western edge of the Deccan plateau, and separates the plateau from a narrow coastal plain Konkan along the Arabian Sea.
Western Ghats are World Heritage sites and is one of the eight hottest hot spots of biological diversity in the world. Western Ghats are the only one region in India among the 8 such regions in the world. A total of 39 properties were designated as world heritage sites in western ghats out of which four are in Maharashtra and remaining are located in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

    Would recommend for serious historians.
The residing palace was destroyed in a fire in 1857, so all you get to understand is sort of a floor plan.
But I think it's a must 45 min visit to see the simple living quarters and how sturdy the walls of the fort have been built.

Carry some water as none is available inside.

Recently we went to Dapoli via Tamhini ghat. It was a mesmerizing experience. After the July rains, there was lush greenery overall with small waterfalls in between. There was fog near the top of mountain and the air was very fresh. The roads are also well maintained but need to drive drive carefully as there are frequent hair-pin turns.
    Overall a beautiful experience.

This is quite a known place for living in and around Pune. You will find so many food stalls selling some crunchy quick bites and tea. Best time to visit is between 4 to 6 PM or early morning hours. The scene is quite beautiful and rainy season is the best time to visit
