- Dipeeka1 contributionPeaceful and relaxing environment. Their is a good amount of learning to take back from this Museum. The use of technology to its fullest really made the incidences look live. The Bhajans in the background were very soothing. It is a must visit place to experience peace and calmness.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sanjiv GPune, India77 contributionsNice memorial for our bravehearts, hosted by southern command of the army. Sound and light show happens in weekend evening (not sure about weekdays). Must visit with children to pay homage and respect for those who sacrificed their lives for safeguarding usWritten 15 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Manoj Madhukar JadhavPune, India220 contributionsThis place is really a god's and nature's creation. The waterfall looks like falling in a vessel. SO the name must have been derived Devkund waterfall. Its a 2 hrs drive from Pune to the place.Written 21 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India9,325 contributionsThis place is located in the middle of the busiest place in Pune. It has very old trees and is a protected monument as per ASI. There are guards and ASI office located at its entrance and is very well maintained. It is clean and the temple can be accessed during day time only. The caves have been carved out of stone and give a good view of the entire complex. The place used to be visited by a local saint named Junglee Maharaj and there is a temple dedicated to him just adjacent to this cave temple.Written 8 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bhaskar Nerurkar2 contributionsA nice serene locale and a quite peaceful environment greets you at this 900 years old Hemadpanti architecture. As in most old temples Shiva linga is down below the ground level. Recently they closed the entry to sanctorum and Darshan allowed From 10 feet approximately.

- 138500423Pune, India2,027 contributionsOne of my society friend told me Madhe Ghat and Pabe Ghat route are scenic so went all alone on 2 wheeler on 14th Nov 2021.
Route: Bibvewadi - Katraj Ghat - Nasrapur - Velha - Tornagadh Junction - Madheghat. Total distance 76 km.
After reaching Tornagadh junction, turn right and take very 1st left road going up.
This road will go parallel to Gunjavane Dam back water. You are going to the back side of Tornagadh. I have attached photo of Gunjavane Dam back water.
From Tornagadh junction it is 18 km distance to Madhe Ghat. The road of this route is poor.
Take locals help where required on this route. Route is simple.
There is a map at Madhe Ghat.
I have attached it in this review.
I was unable to understand it as the map position is not indicated in the map.
I saw few families playing in the water plus group of school kids who came here with trek group. The water in this playing area then falls from the mountain forming waterfall.
Many kids loves playing in water.
Very thin stream of waterfall was there during my visit.
I visited following spots:
1. Waterfall top portion.
The ground at Madhe Ghat where you are is the top most point of water fall.
2. To view the waterfall travel to view point on other side
3. Valley view.
Facing Board:
1st location is to the left of board
2nd location is behind the board
3rd location is to the right of board
Please see the photos attached in this review that are tagged with description for better understanding of the readers.
During my visit noted following:
1. No ear marked parking area.
So no question of parking fee.
2. There is no food stalls
3. No washroom facility
4. No entry ticket
On the route from Tornagadh to Madhe Ghat there are few small restaurants plus resorts.
I had breakfast in one of the resort.
I started at 8 am from and Pune reached Madheghat at 11.15 am.
Spent 30 minutes at Madheghat and headed to Pabe Ghat - Khanapur - Khadakwasla Dam - Bibvewadi.
After crossing Tornagadh junction there is left diversion to Pabe Ghat at few km.
Pabe Ghat sign board is there on both side of road.
Neither Madhe Ghat nor Pabe Ghat route is that scenic.
Visit this place only during rainy season.Written 1 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Manoj Madhukar JadhavPune, India220 contributionsThis is an war cemetery from 2nd world war. Very old and also popular in Pune. The graves of our martryed soldiers are burried here. More than 100 of them are in total. The view also givesa goosebumos with a sad moment of their sacrifice for us.Written 21 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Ketan CPune, India26 contributionsIt was our first guided Tiger Safari . We had tried our luck earlier but did not sight the Tigers . This time we were given very good knowledge about the Tadoba Tiger reserve and Jayesh gave excellent information about the forest and its animals. The tour was so well organised we throughly enjoyed it and the cherry on top was sighting Tigers on all the 4 safaris. Looking forward to do more trips with The Western Routes. Thanks a lotWritten 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ChristineE44Hamilton, New Zealand13 contributionsWe had a 2 hour tour with Padmij on Sat 14 Mar, just as the world started to go crazy with Covid-19, and on our last day before cutting our tour of India short and heading home to NZ.
It was a great tour, and Padmij was most gracious, knowledgable and a good host. Because of the situation, my daughter and I were the only people on the tour, so it was in effect a private tour. Padmij gave us lots of history and local knowledge and was great to chat to.
And the food was great too!
Would recommend.Written 17 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
