If you are going to pune, this should be a must in your itinerary.
They now have small shops who provide kanda bhaji and parathas etc. Food may not be hygienic but taste good.
You can trek if you have energy and old age can also enjoy but initial uphill can be challenging for them.
There are ample places for parking and in the fort you can play freebie and football. At the parking lot there are many stalls where you can have vadapav, pav bhaji and other stuff. We can enjoy Western ghats view from these hill stations. From all above mentioned hill stations we can enjoy panoramic view of lush greenery western ghats. Nature lovers would simply love this western ghats views.
The range runs north to south along with western edge of the Deccan plateau, and separates the plateau from a narrow coastal plain Konkan along the Arabian Sea.
Western Ghats are World Heritage sites and is one of the eight hottest hot spots of biological diversity in the world. Western Ghats are the only one region in India among the 8 such regions in the world. After the July rains, there was lush greenery overall with small waterfalls in between. There was fog near the top of mountain and the air was very fresh. The roads are also well maintained but need to drive drive carefully as there are frequent hair-pin turns.

This is major Dam which is constructed on Mula River. Height of this Gravity Dam is 50.6 meters and length is 1011 meters
The water from Mulshi dam is used for Irrigation and also to produce electricity at the Bhira Hydroelectric plant operated by TATA Power which supplies Maximum electricity to Mumbai city.
As it is nearby Pune city so it is amazing weekend gateway from Pune. This Dam is favaourate spot for the visitors and here get opportunities to go on Bird watching, trekking and campaigning.

2. Tamini Ghat which is gorgeous mountain pass attracting touists from Mumbai and Pun. This got is famous for its curved drive road and many water falls which appears during Monsoon

It requires good fitness to cross that last 1 km inclined Rocky stretch else there can be chances of dizziness, injury.

It attracts lot of devotees every year and specially during special festivals. You need to drive through hills and Ghats to reach this place. Drive is beautiful specially during mansoons. You get to see many beautiful view. Good place for photography lovers. Not much of facilities are available at this place . This place is away from city of Pune and famous for nature enthusiast. Many people go to this place for trekking also. You will be astonished to see the all around view from top and enjoy the greenery throughout the fort possessing large area if visit after monsoon.

KARANRAJ, a passionate Naturalist who headed us on this tour made us see almost 10 Tigers in 5 safaris. It was a thrilling experience in itself. Also Karan ‘s knowledge about wildlife and especially about Tigers is remarkable.
The overall tour arrangements , stay and mainly the safaris were very very well managed.
