- bhattesdJamshedpur, India329 contributionsOur recent visit to the ISKCON temple was extremely mesmerising. The construction of the temple is just marvellous and the beauty of the architecture and the location around the temple is quite impressive. The temple's architecture is stunning, with beautiful golden decorations reflecting the site's majesty and dedication. The deities are elegantly wrapped, and the decorations are bright, resulting in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The temple priests performed the ceremonies with tremendous devotion, which contributed to the spiritual mood. The general cleanliness and upkeep of the temple grounds was outstanding. This temple is a must-see for everyone looking for a relaxing and spiritual experience. The Govindam restaurant provide very good tasty food at the entry gate.

I went in the morning hours and there were very few devotees. It felt very peaceful. Lord Parvasnath, Santhinath and other thirtankars statues were there in the adjoining temples. All the statues were made of five metals and the golden exterior makes them beautiful to look at. I was suprised to find Padmavathi Devi minitemple also. There was Jain agama written on metal sheets that were affixed to the inside walls of temple complex. I think this is why it is called Agama mandir. I observed Jains covering their mouths and approaching the inner sanctum of the temple. I think it could be the custom. One can walk to Jal Mandir from this main temple. This marble Jale Mandir also had Lord Mahavir as the main diety. The views of the Pune city from here are spectacular. There is place of Jain pilgrims to stay and eat in the temple complex. Overall, a good temple to visit on a weekend. I suggest staying for an hour after having made the effort to reach there.Written 5 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can drive right up to the temple though it is a very curvy road ! Amazing temple with many carved pillars and deities all over. A must stop when you are in Pune. There were only 7-8 people there - so very quiet and peaceful to really take-in the place.Written 27 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
