This golf course has the most compelling views. A challenging 7100 Yards par 72 Floodlit Championship Golf course it's every avid golfer's dream come true. The 18 Hole day & night floodlit Championship Golf Course spread over 256 acres nestled in a pristine valley is surrounded by the lofty wind carved Sayadri mountain peaks. The par 5's are long and challenging and on many holes if one hits their tee shot short, then the ball is swallowed by the dense jungle foliage. The green fees are steep for the average Indian course at about $75 for a round but it includes a experienced caddy and the buggy. Lots of rare birds and some wild animals have made their appearance during our game. There is a quaint clubhouse with a British themed pub to enjoy a pint of Indian pale ale or beer at the end of a enjoyable round of golf.

We were five friends meeting after a very long time, wanting to chat and had ample time on us.
Had a very relaxing and good lunch at Oxford golf club with the lush greenery around us and fresh air was free.

We were traveling to Pune and decided to try this course. The weekend price for a non-member was a bit steep (Rs 5,300) but my son and I were desperate to play. The rental clubs were old (Rs 300) but we managed to have good time.

The club members sometimes try to look down upon guests. For instance, on the front-nine, we were waiting for the previous group to clear on almost every shot but the marshall (upon insistence by the next group) kept asking us to improve the pace. On multiple occasions, I told him that if I hit, it'd hurt the someone from the previous group and his idiotic response was "I understand but you need to hurry up because you are a two-some". We almost felt unwelcome.

I complained to the starter at the turn. He apologized. Luckily, the back-nine was all open and we didn't have any issues.

Overall, we enjoyed the course, which is reasonably well-maintained, particularly given the fact that it is close to the heart of the city. Being able to enjoy the tea offered on two hole location was a treat.
