The first problem one encounters is the limited parking which is a nightmare. The zoo is spread over quite a large area but many enclosures are under construction. Due to the construction activity, it is quite dusty. There are many different types of animals and it is a good place for the kids. There is a lot of walking and carts are available if you want a quick round.

This is quite a known place for living in and around Pune. You will find so many food stalls selling some crunchy quick bites and tea. Best time to visit is between 4 to 6 PM or early morning hours. The scene is quite beautiful and rainy season is the best time to visit

Osho Teerth Park - An Update

An update on my much viewed and popular review of a couple of years ago.
The park has remained relatively unchanged and the trees and plants and bushes are as enticing as ever.
The short timings AM and PM are a deterrent to visitors but can be understood to keep unwanted elements out.
Photos of the park and sights in the immediate vicinity are attached.

Absolutely amazing. Not that many people know about it. A great place to get to know Indian culture. I would seriously encourage schools to take all the kids to learn and write an essay about it.

Taljai, nestled in Pune, Maharashtra, India, stands as a revered hill and forest enclave, cherished by nature enthusiasts, avid hikers, and devoted birdwatchers. Its significance in the heart of Pune is nothing short of a divine blessing. Over the past few years, the combined efforts of local authorities and non-governmental organizations have brought about remarkable transformations, especially in the realm of cleanliness and maintenance.

When you explore Taljai, you'll be greeted by a beautiful temple dedicated to the revered Hindu deity Taljai Mata. The surroundings are lush and captivating, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The area is abundant with various plant species, including medicinal plants, and it serves as a haven for a wide range of bird species, delighting birdwatchers who visit the place.

The longest trail, spanning an impressive 6 kilometers, meanders through the captivating depths of the jungle. Fortunate souls may even catch a glimpse of the majestic dance of peacocks.

Recently, a formerly vacant plot along the trekking route has been thoughtfully developed into a lush green expanse, adorned with inviting seating arrangements. This enchanting oasis offers a mesmerizing experience, providing the perfect backdrop for quality time spent with loved ones. Photography enthusiasts are bound to be captivated by the raw beauty that unfolds at every turn.

Taljai, with its harmonious blend of natural splendor, spiritual sanctity, and recreational allure, continues to weave its enchanting spell, casting a captivating aura that draws visitors to its serene embrace.

Once upon a time there was a sleepy suburb of Poona home to many industrialists, retired army generals and celebrities living in bungalows with cloistered gates sheltering well tended gardens and manicured lawns.

Roll fast forward a score and ten years later to modern day Pune and where have all the above disappeared?
The bungalows are rapidly changing hands to an aggressive new breed of real estate developers and builders. Instead we see high-rise structures choc-a-bloc with apartments and conversions of period homes to designer dwellings.
Koregaon Park is changing and continues to change.
All is not gloom and doom however
as taking advantage of the new milieu eating places, restaurants and
wine bars have sprung up all over the place. While one cannot vouch for the quality commensurate with quality in some establishments the
variety of cuisine and favourite dishes have drawn diners and aficionados all across Pune. The coffee shops and wine bars are popular with the younger.
It is not all food however as the North Main Road snaking through Koregaon Park is adorned with boutiques, designer stores and
sundry shops stocking to buyers tastes and inclination.
It would take too much space to write about individual businesses and things to see which will follow in future reviews.
Meanwhile Koregaon Park continues to be a go to destination and continues to provide entertainment to visitors Time after Time.

    Moghul Gardens Park

Every city needs lungs and Koregaon Park provides lots of breathing spaces. The parks are free and well maintained. Amenities to visitors includes a children’s activity area. Moghul Gardens Park is well frequented particularly on weekends.

Not much of facilities are available at this place . This place is away from city of Pune and famous for nature enthusiast. Many people go to this place for trekking also. There is no place to stay overnight so better you plan your visit accordingly.

Khandi is arena of waterfalls. Jagtap waterfall, Thokarwadi waterfall, Lalwadi waterfall, and Bendewadi waterfall are famous waterfalls in Khandi. We had been Bendi waterfall in the month of Jul'23.

Bendewadi waterfall is hidden gem of Khandi area which is unknown beautiful waterfall located in Bendewadi village of Maval taluka. This region turns into a wonderful land of waterfall in the monsoon area. Surrounding area is flooded with more than 20 waterfalls including Small and Big falls.

We started from Pune @ 08:30 am via old Mumbai highway and it took us two and half hours to reach there. There Village local people are maintaining Parking as well as dress change facility. Only thing is Parking area is congested. Better to reach there in the early hours so that you will have pleasant trip. There is Entry ticket of 20 INR collected by localities. Water coming from top of the mountain with force and one can go inside that water fall with easy access.

    Best Time to Visit:
Without second though best time to visit is peak Monsoon.
