The park has remained relatively unchanged and the trees and plants and bushes are as enticing as ever.
The short timings AM and PM are a deterrent to visitors but can be understood to keep unwanted elements out.

- SubhNehaPune, India270 contributionsThe below review is for travel with family mainly and may not be applicable for Trekking and Adventure trips.
Its an excellent destination close to Pune and suitable for a day trip, especially during the monsoons. And yes, you can take family and kids to enjoy the spectacular views and surroundings.
Road: Follow google map. Mobile signal after Velhe is intermittent, so download the map.The road from Velhe to Madhe is mostly rough but motorable. The views on the both sides of the road is amazing and will not allow to feel the adversaries of rough ride. Parking is available at the entrance. Vehicles are not allowed till the end and visitors need to walk for 15-20 mins to reach the view point.
Food: Food options are limited after Velhe. We stopped for lunch on the way back at one small place named Nisarg. Food was tasty, freshly prepared and appropriately priced. You can enjoy the great view of Torna while nibbling on rotis and sipping hot tea. Makeshift stalls near the waterfall sells snacks which are reasonably priced.
Stay: You can also plan for a night stay there on the top of a plateau, few Kms before the waterfall. Mango forest resort is a great option. Else numerous resorts and sty options are available before the Ghats at various rates.
Tips: To view the waterfall, there are two view points towards the right of the stream. There are no safety railings, so be careful while enjoying. And most importantly Do not litter and spoil the place.Written 19 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
