You need to pay for the visit inside. It is beautifully made and well maintained. Full of natural beauty and good place for meditation. You can enroll and join by paying meditation courses conducted here. they have residential and food facility also. Peaceful and calm place. Worth visiting at least once in case you are in Pune.Written 6 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sumoy Sen122 contributionsRecently visited film and Television institute of India. The campus is quite large and at the gate we had witnessed the replica of RajGhat...this was constructed and decorated for a month to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi ji on his death anniversary. We were lucky enough to visit this. There is a challenge to park your own vehicle as the site is exactly on main Loyola college road. By knowing the alumni list of FTII you will have a special feel of the place.Written 13 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Prathmesh KPune, India9 contributionsIn a historic achievement, the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) situated in Khodad, about 60 kilometres from Pune, detected very weak radio signals from a space probe sent to Mars by the European Space Agency (ESA). The GMRT was selected as the Earth-based observatory to provide ground support for the ESA's ExoMars mission, which aims to explore various properties of Mars, and also land a probe on the surface to explore technologies for the future.
The GMRT detected the radio signals (around 401 MHz) which were emitted by this European space probe at the time of the lander's separation from the orbiter, as it closed in on Mars after a sixmonth journey.Written 14 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
