And nice temple ,photos are allowed inside to take .
This temple is nearby famous Laxmi market as well ,so it's quite crowded and people come and go.

The trek up is the best part! Killer views from the top, and the kanda bhaji with chai is a must-try. Avoid afternoons, it gets super hot. The history of the fort is fascinating.

Our recent visit to the ISKCON temple was extremely mesmerising. The construction of the temple is just marvellous and the beauty of the architecture and the location around the temple is quite impressive. The temple's architecture is stunning, with beautiful golden decorations reflecting the site's majesty and dedication. The deities are elegantly wrapped, and the decorations are bright, resulting in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The temple priests performed the ceremonies with tremendous devotion, which contributed to the spiritual mood. The general cleanliness and upkeep of the temple grounds was outstanding. This temple is a must-see for everyone looking for a relaxing and spiritual experience. The Govindam restaurant provide very good tasty food at the entry gate.
They provide accommodation at a reasonable price. They also provide halls for marriage and other functions at cheap price.

Visiting the Aga Khan Palace in Pune on Christmas Day was a serene and enlightening experience. The only wait was for buying the tickets, which can be conveniently purchased online via a QR code. It would be even more engaging if they provided commentary or self-directed headphones.

The Aga Khan Palace, built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III, has a poignant history. Constructed to provide employment for famine-stricken villagers, the palace took five years to build at a cost of Rs 12 lakhs. Spanning 19 acres, with 6.9 acres covered by the palace and the rest by well-maintained gardens, it’s a sight to behold.

From 1953 to 1972, the palace housed a residential co-education school. In 1969, Aga Khan IV generously donated the palace to the people of India in honor of Gandhi and his philosophy. The Indo-Saracenic architecture, complete with pediments and turrets, adds to the palace's charm, and its 2.5-meter wide corridor encircling the entire building is a unique feature.

The Gandhi Museum within the palace, spread across six galleries, showcases numerous statues of Gandhi and others, with detailed exhibits on the Quit India Movement. Additionally, the samadhis of Kasturbha and Mahadev Desai are located here. The expansive, well-kept lawns offer a great opportunity for city dwellers to enjoy open spaces while learning about history and nature.

Shaniwar Wada is a historical fortification in the city of Pune, India. Built in 1732,
it was the seat of the Peshwas of the Maratha Confederacy until 1818. The fort itself was largely destroyed in 1828 by an unexplained fire, but the surviving structures are now maintained as a tourist site.
If you plan to visit make sure you buy a ticket online beforehand as they don’t have a ticket office.

Katraj Jain temple is located on Bangalore Pune Highway, which is also known as Aagam temple. It is one of the famous Jain temple in Pune. It is present on the high hills on Katraj. The city view in the night from the top looks striking and amazing.
We have planned one day outing towards Katraj and same is started with Katraj Narayani Dham temple Visit in the morning at 08:30 am and followed by Zoo Park visit till Noon time. Then Visited Katraj Lake Park and had Picnic and Lunch at Lake park which is homemade food carried with us. After Lunch spent sometime in Lake park then started towards this Jain temple visit. Reached here around 03:00 pm and spent time more than one hour. I was mesmerized with the Panoramic views and architecture of this temple. Its so pleasant and peaceful here in this temple.

The Lord Mahavir statue in this temple is in Padmasan, a sitting position which is 12 feet tall and weighs about 5000 kg, which is a golden shaded Panch Dhatu idol. A Separate temple of Parshwanath Bhagwan called, Jal Mandir, lies beyond the main temple. which is also made of Panch Dhatu with 8 feet tall and 3000 kg weight.
This temple contains 24 tirthankars idols. There are idols of Bhagwan Mahaveer, Parshwanath and Goddess Padmavathi. The main temple is surrounded by four small Jain god temples. All the walls on outer temples have some Jain scripts written in Prakrit and Pali Languages.
This Jain temple was built in late 20th Century under direction of Acharya Daulatsagarsuri.

    Near By Attraction:
    1. Katraj Narayani Dham temple
    2. Rajiv Gandhi Zoo Park
    3. Katraj Lake Park
    4. Saras Baugh.

A short 25-30mins uphill trek would take you closer to the waterfall. If visiting Devkund, don't forget to visit this place.

This is historic place of sad and brutal killing of Chhatrapati Sambhaji maharaj by Aurangajeb. He was brutally tortured and killed at Vadhu and pieces were thrown in the river which were collected at Tulapur and last riots performed. This place also had tula (weighment) by virtue of elephant in boat in river and then all goods were given away to people. 3 rivers meet here (Indrayani, Bhama and Bhima) which has beautiful view. There are small temples at river bank. Boating facility is available. This place can be reached by bus from either Wagholi or Alandi.
