We were visiting town for a friend’s wedding and wanting to find some local food that would not upset our stomachs. We loved speaking with and learning from Snehal and her husband. The tour was tailored to our interests and they were very generous and kind. We asked them many questions about food and Pune broadly. We learned a lot! Dating back to the time of the British in India it seems to stuck in that period with crowded stalls and vendors.
It’s popularity can be gauged by the decibel level, quick turnover and the crush of customers.
