Following advice from another review I contacted Siasanan (9755505508) to organise a day tour of the temples. He was busy, but passed me on to his colleague Ghanshyam (9981295637).
I’m very pleased I made that contact. Ghanshyam is an excellent guide - easy to understand, likeable and very professional. He organised extremely comfortable transport and gave me a very full day where we found time to visit all of the temple complexes as well as an astonishing nearby gorge - India’s answer to the Grand Canyon.
His explanations were clear and meant I got much more out of my visit than I would have done had I tried to make the trip alone.
I thoroughly recommend both of these gentlemen.

I had an excellent early morning visit to the temples with Anand Tiwari (+919893151427), I booked him in advance and he arranged ground transport perfectly, and met me at the station (despite 2 hr train delay). He is super knowledgable on all things Khajuraho and good company too. Highly recommended.

Absolutely magnificent and stunning architecture by mighty Chandela king, Vidhyadhar. The level of precision and details incorporated by Architects of that era is beyond imagination. It is beyond thoughts as to how such a huge and stupendous temple was built entirely of rocks by the civil engineers of that era. Be proud of our Sanatani ancestors.

Excellent selection of cloths. High quality linen, cotton and silk. Got there upon recommendation to have some shirts and pants reproduced. The tailor did an excellent job, displayed very good craftsmanship. All came out to my full satisfaction. Also had a bunch of mala bags made from different untreated cotton fabric and silk. Very good quality, too. Will certainly return on my next visit to Khajuraho. Rajrishi and his team are very friendly and helpful. Great service.

This temple doesn't belong to the famed western group of temples hence you need to drive down a bit to visit this stunning piece of architecture.

A well maintained and gorgeous temple in the Southern Group of Temples. This is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The term dulhadeo is derived from the word holy bridegroom. Not sure about the connection with Shiva and groom. The outer walls of the temple has lot of celestial sculptures in erotic poses. Built in 1100-1150 AD, Dulhadeo is a popular place of worship for the locals. It is also known as Kunwar Math. The lovely manicured garden around the temple adds a lot of charm and serenity. Since Duladeo is among the latest additions, the built and maintenance look amazing. No entry fee is charged. Timing- Sunrise to Sunset
