The best cliff beach in the entire world. The sun rise view and Sunset view is the best. Access to the beach is adventurous. Everyone will like it.

the staff was very rude because we had cameras with us even though we weren't using it. But the view is stunning. It's beautiful over there, see the water and be on top of all those palm trees

One of the most lovely Temples we have seen, although we also loved the Kali Temple too. I love to see local temples, eat local foods as well as hang out with local folk to get the real feel of the area. We love Varkala!

The St. Sebastian's church, Varkala is under the Latin Arch Diocese of Trivandrum and regular Holy Mass is being conducted here apart from the annual feast of St. Sebastian. The feast is a festival which is attended by thousands of people irrespective of caste, creed and terrain. We went to the church few days back too and the church building & parish hall and other buildings are of architectural excellence and situated in a vast compound. While we were in the church, saw several people offering prayers though it was not the Holy Mass time. The Church has become a pilgrim center attracting people from the nearby towns and there is no caste restriction in visiting the church.
