An amazing trip to Kerala with best views and boat house stay was beautiful. Every meal was fresh made on the boathouse. Very delicious. Our driver Achu was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our trip.

What a great experience! Floating down the river was so relaxing. We sat at the front of the boat and felt like VIPs as we watched the scenery go by while our fantastic crew attended to our every need. The meals on board were excellent. Our bedroom was cool at night. They stopped at Champakulam, a small town on the river, where we could shop for the usual tourist items. But the real attraction of that town was the St Mary's Basilica just beyond the tourist shops. Founded in the 400's, it's gorgeous inside, with painted walls and ceiling. Overall we had a wonderful time and felt like we really got to see Kerala
We had one traumatic thing happen at the end of our trip. After we got off the houseboat, we had to take a water taxi to get to the dock where the cars were parked. Our luggage was on top of the taxi along with the garbage from our trip. At some point, the garbage bag flew off the taxi and into the river. We can only hope it was an accident.

We are on a World Cruise and had made arrangements with Pacific Classic Tours to leave our ship for a private tour of the Taj Mahal. Our itinerary was changed at the last minute, but PCT was able to make our visit with the new ports. We left from Colombo and returned to Cochin on the 3rd day. Our driver, DK Sharma, picked us up at the airport and spent the entire trip getting us to all locations effortlessly, with great kindness and assistance. Made the trip, even though timing was short, seem very enjoyable. Our Guide, Mahesh, was very knowledgeable and made the building come to life for us. He was able to answer all questions, get us to all the special spots for view, and organized the day for maximum enjoyment. Totally a 5 star trip!

Just finished a 3n/4d tour in Kerala - two nights in Munnar, a night on the houseboat and finished with some sightseeing in lovely Fort Kochi.
The best thing about this tour with Iris holidays is that it is fully customisable to what you want to do - we expressed interest in exploring the nature of Munnar and the tea plantations by doing a hike and our amazing and very kind driver Monesh organised one of his friends to take us on a fabulous trek in the plantations. We also really enjoyed the scenery of the houseboat and I was able to choose one of several offered by Iris meaning we got a more traditional one. Niranjana in the office was very patient with me!
Honestly - with a different driver it would have been a very different trip, we had such fun with Monesh and he was keen to put little personal touches on the trip showing us his favourite spots in his locality. Highly recommend!
    Ps. Monesh - ONE MORE!!

Wonderful trip, we saw so much and everything was perfect .
Our driver Raj was lovely, always early and very accomodating with our requests to add little things to the trip.
The hotels and the food were all amazing.
Our contact Gaurav in Cochin was regularly checking that we were enjoying ourselves and seeing if we needed anything. He arranged the houseboat at Alleppey for us at our request.
This was an unforgettable trip and I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

The agents were really helpful from the beginning of booking. We opted to upgrade on certain aspects and this was all taken care of. We knew the drives would be long so we upgraded to a larger car also.

We were collected from the airport with no issues, our driver Anil was ready to take us for coffee before we began our long journey. Anil was very friendly and helpful and listened to what we wanted to do. We didn’t want to cram lots of things into our days and he accepted that. Our first stop was to get a case of beer as many places don’t sell it.

The Tall trees in Munnar and Greenwoods in Thekkady were wonderful stays that we wouldn’t have found without sanguine holidays. There’s so much to see on the trip that it can get too busy that you miss out on the beauty of some of the hotel’s surroundings. Do take time to relax in these spaces as it’s not often you find gems like this.

We enjoyed the coffee stops and juice stops along the way. Not so much the spice shop as the staff got a bit funny with us when we didn’t buy ‘anything and everything’ and it made us feel a little uncomfortable.

The house boat tour was really lovely, it wasn’t quite what we expected for a luxury boat, but it was really calm and relaxing, just what we needed. The 2 staff were polite and friendly and made us some lovely food and ensured we were having a good time.

It was far too hot in Kochi to do so much sight seeing so we asked Anil to drive us to the places and we will see them from the car. He was very informative about each area and has good knowledge on the venues. We finished in Kochin at a wonderful hotel called Brunton’s boat yard where we had a delicious lunch, it was pricey but well worth it!

The end of our tour was in Cherai beach. Anil took us to our next booked hotel as it was a similar distance to taking us back to the airport. He ensured that we arrived safely and got checked in before leaving for his own family time.

Thank you Sanguine for making our trip easy and hassle free. We would certainly recommend.

Our 6 days in Kerala was the perfect length tour for us. We got to see so much without it being too busy all the time. Our driver was amazing, and we felt so safe with him the entire time. He went above and beyond and was very generous throughout the tour. Overall, our experience was great. Our highlight was learning all about the different spices that are grown in Kerala!

Just returned back from 11 days in beautiful Kerala, completing the fabled triangle, Kochi, Munnar, Thekaddy and back to Kochi.

This was a very last minute trip, so it was imperative that the tour operator was able to quickly pull together options for me (3 days). Anoop at Saffron was amazing - right from the initial contact, he understood my requirements based on what type of trip we were looking for and what was good and what to avoid. Anoop created a bespoke package for us within a few days, and that gave me the confidence to commit and book my tickets from London to Kochi.

We had one driver for the tour, who went at our pace, and stopped where we wanted and when we wanted to break. There was no pressure or rushing around - which is really important when the key element is to relay and enjoy the views as you travel through the amazing countryside.

The hotels that Anoop suggested were great, and cannot complain on the rooms, food or service. Just truly brilliant.

Lastly, Anoop also recommended a lovely Ayurveda resort, Nihara, where we spent the last week of our trip. This was again a real gem, as otherwise it’s quite challenging to choose an Ayurveda centre from the dozens that are advertised when visiting from abroad.

If you want to visit Kerala, and be assured that you will be dealing with a professional, family based tour operator, who will tailor the tour to your preferences, I can definitely recommend Saffron Tours.

We had a 6D5N tour to Kerala. When we landed at Cochin Airport, our driver, Eltinis, welcomed us. We checked into the first hotel, Hotel Presidency Cochin, which was conveniently close to the airport, making it easy to reach after our 4-hour-plus flight. The room was comfortable but did not quite meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The breakfast could be improved with more variety, so we would rate it 7/10.

Our day began with a visit to Athirapally Waterfall, which is not recommended for elderly people. The waterfall view was beautiful. We then checked into The Leaf Munnar for a 2-day stay. This was one of the best resorts we experienced during our 6-day tour. The staffs were very friendly and welcomed us in traditional ways. The resort offered a variety of evening activities, including complimentary tea and coffee. We celebrated our son's birthday at the resort restaurant, where the food, especially the chili fish, was delicious. The breakfast spread was diverse. The next day, we enjoyed a jeep safari and had the opportunity to participate in Sivarathiri prayers at Mahadeva Temple, as it coincided with the festival. We also visited Ripple Munnar, Ripper Waterfall, Ponmudi Dam, Echo Point Munnar, Ponmudi Viewpoint, and Hanging Bridge Ponmudi.

We then visited the Museum & Plantation (Kannan Devan Hills Plantations) and had a refreshing drink of Nonggu on the way to our next stop. We also experienced Kathakali & Kalaripayattu martial arts, which was amazing. Our last stop of the day was Prakrithi Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, where we received excellent service and enjoyed delicious food. The restaurant caters to a variety of tastes, and the staffs were attentive and provided excellent service. On the next day when check-our from the resort the staff even took a picture of us in front of the hotel, printed it on a hotel's paper photo frame card for us to keep as a memory. We highly recommend this resort.

Next, we travelled to Thekkady, where we started our tour with a hot air balloon ride in Munnar. It was a nice experience, although we felt that the 600 INR paid for 20 soft copy photos was not worth it, as only 4 out of 10 pictures were good. On our way to Periyar Spices & Ayurvedic Garden, we saw Vandanmedu Ganapathi. We had a good lunch at a restaurant, although we unfortunately did not remember its name. We then proceeded with an elephant safari, which was worth the price. It was a sweet memory when the elephant blessed us. We checked into Wild Avenue Resort & Spa, which we do not recommend. The lift did not function properly, there were network and Wi-Fi issues due to poor room range, and the electricity tripped three times. After 7 pm, we couldn't even go outside near the swimming pool due to a lot of mosquitoes.

Our journey continued to the Boathouse in Alleppey, where we had another delightful stay. The owner and chef were polite, the food was delicious, and the luxury houseboat made our vacation very comfortable. We plan to return here soon.

On the last day, we checked out and visited Chottanikkara Bhagavathi Amman Temple, followed by lunch at Dhe Puttu Cochin, which offered a great variety of food, excellent hospitality, value for money, and a great ambiance. It is a must-try restaurant in Kochi. We then went shopping at Seematti Kochi, which provided a great shopping experience.

Our driver, Eltin's brother, was also superb and never seemed tired of taking us wherever we wanted to go. His friendly and approachable demeanour made our tour enjoyable. Thank you for a memorable experience, brother. It was a fantastic tour with a comfortable Tempo.

To the tour agent, thank you very much, Saba Fathima, for arranging a wonderful vacation to Kerala and providing us with unforgettable memories. We were very satisfied with all the arrangements. It was an awesome trip! Thank you for the excellent service and immediate responses to all our inquiries. You arranged everything according to our preferences, and we would highly recommend AIP to our friends and relatives who plan to travel to India in the future. Great job, and keep it up!

Wow! This was a trip of a lifetime. We were travelling to India for a wedding, and having not visited India before we were a bit apprehensive. We so shouldnt have been. From the moment I made an enquiry to Bout India Tours, to the day we said goodbye, we were absolutely delighted with their professionalism and kindness. They organised all our drivers, accommodation, tours and tour guides in Delhi, Agra and Kerala who were amazing. Bout India Tours staff were always available to chat to us 24/7 if we wanted to change our plans at any time. One one day we had 3 tours organised and we decided just to do one of them as were a bit tired and the beautiful Chahat from Bout India was straight onto the driver to advise him of our change. We loved how they checked in on us and their nothing was too hard approach. All the accomm was lovely especially The Leaf Resort in Kerala - incredible. The people of India are so kind and helpful and Kerala and the Taj Mahal were breathtaking... and we saw elephants in the wild in Kerala! We absolutely loved Kerala it was so beautiful.
Big thanks to all the Bout India staff who made this trip - Chahat, Pinki, Geet and Tejinder, and to Vijay, Athul our amazing drivers, and to our tour guides Harry and Anul. India you were amazing !NAMASTE X

Vijay was very knowledgeable regarding the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal!!!
We had a misunderstanding about amount of travel times required between cities. When we couldn’t do a 2nd Tiger safari we were very disappointed but Vijay worked with his company and came back to us offering an elephant experience. We agreed to that and it was FANTASTIC! All participants thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our guide in Jaipur, Gaurav, was perfect for the tours in Jaipur areas!
Above all, our driver, Basant was very experienced and provided us with a safe and exciting journey between cities and among the tuk-tuks, motor bikes, lorries, pedestrians, cows, goats, camels, horses, and snake charmers! He was amazing.
Would highly recommend this company for custom India tours however I suggest the tour descriptions more realistically reflect actual travel times.
