A lovely relaxing journey gently winding our way on the river backwaters which included a typical Keralan lunch. A well organised and thoroughly enjoyable day at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

The tea garden views are amazing.
The included lunch is also delicious.

Elephants do as they are please so there is a chance you don’t get to see any.
We were lucky and got to see one at the very start of the trip. We then waited a couple of hours at the elephant village view point but none came, it’s the name of the game.

Ganesh, our guide was very patient and passionate about telling us all about the area and it’s stories.

    A very good day out!

The whole staff starting from the pick up and drop off from and back to hotel was an amazing experience. The driver was very friendly and patient. The staff on the boat including the chef were excellent! The food was great! They have maintained an excellent time schedule.

We got a good condition Maruti Ertiga which is very important. Our driver Mr. Eby was a good person and talked about the basics of each location we visited. Apart from the spice garden, old church and tea factory visit, we saw rubber and tea plantations on our way. We were also able to spot some wild elephants on our way back which was the highlight of our tour. However, a single day journey to Munnar from Kochi and back can be exhausting for elderly due to long driving hours. And it's only recommended for people who want to see things quickly like us.

Fantastic. Shared car to the boat although you can book a separate car but it's costs more. Beautiful, and the lady was so helpful and had lots of knowledge. I went solo and felt very comfortable. The lunch was served on a banana leaf, and it was so tasty
    I highly recommend this experience.

Kumbalangi village is surrounded by backwaters and the village is particularly famous for its eco-tourism activities such as Coir Making, Crab Farming, Fishing, Chinese Nets and many more. This village is blessed with many natural wonders and the people who visits are treated very well by the locals , there are few home stay options too in the village.

The walking tour was extremely informative and our guide, Mari, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the tea plants and the estate itself. The tea wastage is also extremely well maintained and the views are breath taking, if on more overcast and cloudy days.
The factory visit was cool but felt less personal and questions were not encouraged. The group for the factory visit was also far to large for the small factory which added to the impersonal feeling. The tea tasting aspect also was not what I expect (we were provided tea spoons and three cups of teas with little to no explanation on the actual teas themselves).

I would recommend this experience, especially the tea estate tour, but would advise to manage your expectations on the tea factory visit.

This was really a wonderful experience. We (to grown up ladies) were taken so good care of all the way. We got a nice SUV with an experienced driver - Salel. Salel fixed everything and was so friendly and helpful. Really nice hotels with excellent service, clean rooms and pools, and nice food. Lots of interesting activities and spectacular views. Quite a lot of driving and "Indian traffic". It would have been nice to get some more information about hotels and unabigious information about the activities and excursions before we arrived.

I had the best day ever on this tour! I can’t recommend it highly enough. Easy booking process and communications via WhatsApp with Munnar info were superb.

Mr Ganesh (Mani) was an excellent guide - so knowledgeable and always checking in with how I was and if there were any other photo points I wanted to stop - thank you!

The trip to the spice plantation was also brilliant - amazing to learn about all the spices.

The scenery on the tour is just breathtaking…

All in all I highly recommend booking with Munnar Info - you will not be disappointed.. in fact I’ve just booked another tour with them!

Kanyakumari Beach is renowned for its captivating sunset views, which are a highlight for many visitors. Being at the southernmost tip of India, this beach offers a unique spectacle where the sun appears to sink into the meeting point of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean.

    Sunset Experience

    1. Panoramic Views: The sunset here is a sight to behold, with the sun casting a golden and orange glow over the waters. The rocky shoreline adds a dramatic effect, making it a picturesque moment for photography or quiet contemplation.

    2. Best Time for Sunset: The best views are typically between October and March, when the skies are clear. During these months, you can experience both sunrise and sunset on the same coastline due to the geographical positioning of Kanyakumari.

    3. Viewpoints: The best spots to view the sunset include the main Kanyakumari Beach and the nearby View Tower. If you’re willing to pay a small entry fee, the View Tower offers an elevated perspective that enhances the sunset experience.

    4. Spiritual and Tranquil Vibe: Watching the sun set at this unique confluence of three seas is almost a spiritual experience, drawing visitors into a peaceful reflection and sense of wonder.

    Tips for Sunset Viewing

Arrive Early: Sunset draws a crowd, so getting to your chosen viewing spot early helps secure a good position.

Check Weather Conditions: Cloudy days can obscure the sunset, so try to visit on a clear day.

Bring a Camera: The sunset here is incredibly photogenic, and the colors reflecting off the water create stunning photos.

    Final Thoughts

Kanyakumari Beach's sunset is a mesmerizing experience, and its uniqueness lies in the setting and serene atmosphere. If you’re visiting Kanyakumari, the sunset is a must-see—an unforgettable experience of natural beauty at the very tip of India.
