Truly recommendWritten 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. One useful tip I thought of contributing. There is a separate queue for senior citizens .
Cameras, smart watches and other electronic items are strictly prohibited. The dress code of veshti (dhoti) for men needs to be adhered to .
For ladies sarees or churidar is permitted.
There is also a provision for a special darshan . There is a separate counter for tickets , the charge is 1000 per person (Cash Only) .
In case you want to you can use the City Union Bank automated machine which is in one corner of the temple campus opposite the guest facilitation counter . They accept other modes of payment (sadly no one uses it or is aware of this ) , I am providing a pic of the same .
In case you book online please do not forget to carry a printout ( there are no facilities to print the same ) .

It has a small beach hore compared to other Beach shore 🏖. No sanitation facilities, u have use nearly by village homes or temple trust for the same.
For shopping some shops are there to spend some time. One or two water activities available to enjoy.
The atmosphere was very good in the evening and the sunset was fabulous at that time.
We enjoyed.Written 30 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Scenery is very good, waterway is dirty with garbage but not as bad as other rivers in the area.
Reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I think there are too many houseboats and tour boats on the water way making the experience feel over commercialised and detrimental to the environment.
It was the highlight of my stay in the Kerela region.Written 14 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sajan G EdacherilPala, IndiaA Peaceful Getaway at Marari Beach
Marari Beach is a slice of paradise that offers peace, natural beauty, and endless charm. This clean and pristine beach is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of Kerala’s coastline.
The tranquil atmosphere, combined with the golden sands and calming waves, makes it a fantastic spot for relaxation or fun-filled family outings. The beach is well-maintained, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for all visitors.
What makes the experience even more delightful are the local women entrepreneurs who provide excellent services along the beach. Whether it’s refreshing coconut water, delicious ice creams, or other snacks, they serve everything with a smile and a warm, welcoming attitude. Their presence adds a unique touch to the beach experience and ensures your visit is both convenient and enjoyable.
Marari Beach is also ideal for leisurely walks, catching breathtaking sunsets, or simply sitting back and watching the waves roll in. It’s a haven for anyone seeking a perfect mix of tranquility and light-hearted fun.
Highly recommended for nature lovers, families, and anyone yearning for a serene escape by the sea. What makes it unique is that it's a private museum, created from the extensive personal collection of one man. Instead of relying on grants or subsidies, the museum supports itself through the variety of small shops located on the second and third floors.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll sense how special this place is. The admission fee is very reasonable . The staff is extremely knowledgeable, especially Ms. Rincy, and many of them are artisans and craftspeople whose creations are sold in the museum's shops.
There are also large cases of antiques for sale, including stunning temple jewelry, all in support of the museum. The collection is overwhelming in the best way — unique and fascinating artifacts and architectural details are everywhere. The signage is detailed and offers great insights into the history and significance of the items on display. Take your time to explore, as there are treasures to discover around every corner.
Don’t forget to visit the third floor, where you’ll find small shops selling jewelry, clothes, and textiles. Everything sold here supports the museum and local artisans. I spent three hours here without even realizing how much time had passed.
This museum transports you back to the 18th century and gives you a glimpse of life in Kerala during that time. The artifacts, including priceless jewelry and household items, provide an incredible understanding of Kerala’s history and culture in a short time. It’s truly a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful to have had the chance to visit.Written 13 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
