Unfortunately, the Artisan Village was closed the day we visited, but Lijo contacted me days in advance to let us know. Our guide was so kind and patient, even helping us with our shopping in the markets. The next day, Lijo met us again in Kochi, and we had another fabulous tour. - Praveen P14 contributionsTrust me....Karkala is the great place to experience Jain temple,Venkatraman Temple richness, Thousand pillar temple, Eswar Temple in Moodbidri,etc. Don't forget to taste Breakfast in Tajmahal, market road and Renuka Hotel, Kudremukh Road and non veg lunch in Charcol hotel, Moodbidri,etc.
