We went on a little tour of Bangalore and visited the Bull temple and Ganesh temple. They are just next door to each other.
The bull temple was very interesting and the story behind it fascinating.
The Ganesh temple was much more active with local people coming to worship.
It was absolutely fascinating and something I don’t think we will ever forget.
We are a British couple and all the people whilst practicing their religion were extremely welcoming and we felt comfortable being part of the experience.
A fascinating experience that I’m very glad we took the time to appreciate.

From look of it we felt It’s great palace among other palaces in India to visit . The entry fee they charge is bit high, Though They have wonderful collections of ancient times which they have kept very nicely, but the maintenance of palace is very poor and it did not lived up to our expectation.

A good spot for a picture or a evening stroll. The place is lit up well on sundays between 7-8 pm. You find a lot of hawkers selling street food.
You also have photographers who would click and give a hard printed copy at Rs. 50.
Entry inside is not allowed until you have a political connect.

This is a lush green and serene property. One can enjoy whole day here without any trouble. This property has cafeteria which serves tasty food, Spa, accommodation. The walkway is beautiful and meditation centre is very beautiful. It is supposed to be the largest and also constructed in a scientific way.

The only areas I felt are washrooms are not lit properly, not very clean and not maintained. Of course people also don’t use it properly. And the road that leads to this is place is not done.

Bangalore city railway station has come a long way in the last few years. It is now connected by a walkway to the metro. Still has a long way to go as far as overall cleanliness.

At the northern end of Platform 6 is a hidden gem- a small art museum that houses interesting (mostly) railroad associated paintings. It is free and takes just 15-20 minutes to visit. I highly recommend it.

Omkareshwarar Temple and an Ashram are situated in Omkareshwar Hills, which is closer to Raja Rajeshwari Nagar - Banakshankari 6th Stage 11th Block, Bengaluru! You have the option to reach the hillock by car using the road available or choose to walk few steps to reach the temple! The Whte Temple Towers are having looks of East / North Indian Temple structure. Of course there is a structure of South Indian ( Chola ) style Tower too at the main entrance.

The specialty is there are separate Sannidhis for each of the 12 Jyotirlingas in this temple with exact depiction of the original structures. Post your prayers at all the 12 Jyothirlingams you can walk towards the Circular Meditation Hall and have bliss! If you still choose to climb few more steps, you can reach the Sannidhi in the top! Surprisingly there are small shrines for each of major Religions - Jain / Sikh / Christians / Islam / Buddhist in top under a massive banyan tree! Take time to visit this place during your next visit to Bengaluru!

It is quite a beautiful building. The place is near to Cubbon Park in front of Karnataka High Court. This place can be easily reached by Namma Metro. I didn’t go inside the building, but from outside the building was beautiful.
