- RiyaLucknow, India1 contributionMr. Dorjay made our first trip to Ladakh the most memorable. He made the best arrangements for us in terms of driver, cars, hotels. Our drivers Mushtaq and Lotus were just the best! They took care of us and were experts on these tricky roads, knew all the right places to stop by for food and toilet breaks.
Overall the itinerary prepared by Active Adventures was brilliant. It did not exhaust us and the whole week felt like a breeze. We did experience some AMS symptoms on the second day in Leh, and Mr. Dorjay was so sweet that he came down to our room to meet us and see how we were holding up. He motivated us and asked us to keep our spirits high for the trip. We got well the next day and carried on with the trip. That’s just amazing service, something I have not seen before. When I plan multiple trips to India, Nishat tour and travel will always be my first choice.
Our trips this time led us to Leh Ladakh and Kashmir and as expected are very well arranged. The itinerary covered most of the places I wish to explore. Hotels in Leh, Kargil, Pahalgam & Srinagar are meticulously assigned, clean & comfortable which suits my expectation with views of rugged mountain & rivers. The walking distant to Dal Lake in Kashmir is another bonus. Our tour guide Jigmet, Ghulam & others are very helpful & even take the time to explain the history and importance of each visits. Special thanks to our guide for ensuring that we have comfortable ride throughout.
Best when we divert from our itinerary, the owner, Shaqoor ensure to accomodate our request. Our houseboat stay at Nigeen lake are awesome and caretaker provide us too-notch service.
Overall I am satisfy and strongly recommend Nishat tour & travel if you happen to plan for trips to Kashmir.
Not only your visit are well taken care of but the staffs are amazing and readily available to assist.

- Suraj K2 contributionsWe had the best travelling experience with Overseas Holidays . Zabreen, was our travel Expert, she helped me in planning the trip for Kashmir and Ladakh 13 days and 12 nights. We got the best hotels to stay. From day 1 of our arrival at Srinagar till we checked out we had end to end support from Operations Team 24hrs. Our driver Sahil and standing was awesome guide. He was there with us all through our trip.

We get to visit local homes, participate in making local food, and chit-chat with local folks over cups of butter-milk-tea and chang (local barley wine).
When we ran into bad weather and landslides/ flood blocking our way forward, the local crew responded promptly in making necessary alternative arrangements (from homestays to sourcing food supplies in village farms and amending itinerary), and making sure that we could move on safely without missing our international flight home! - Vic CSpringwood, Australia50 contributionsWe organised our tour to the Ladakh in the Indian Himalayan Mountains online through HolidaysAT, New Delhi. The tour was modified to suit our needs in regards to dates, length of the tour and type of accomodation we wanted to stay in. During the months before we left home, Amit Tomar of HolidaysAT corresponded by email and phone calls to keep us updated about the upcoming tour and any modifications we required. On our arrival in New Delhi Airport, Amit and his driver were waiting to take us to our overnight accommodation at the LaLit Hotel. As our flight had arrived early in the morning Amit had organised an early check in at no extra cost for us, which was greatly appreciated after our long flight from Australia. At the hotel, Amit provided us with everything we needed for the tour.
The following morning, Amit and his driver arrived on time to take us to the airport for the flight to Leh. At Leh, we were met by a driver who took us to our accommodation, the Zen Ladakh Hotel. Later that day, a representative for HolidaysAT met with us to welcome us and discuss the tour. Our tour guide Stanzin Rabyang and driver Mr Nawang for the start of our 1 week tour of Leh and the Ladakh region. Stanzin was a such a good guide with a great personality and full of knowledge. The tour included overnight stays at beautiful locations in the Ladakh region, TSO Pangong Lake, TSO Moriri Lake and Hunder in the Nubra Valley. During the tour we also visited many other sites and areas such as the amazing ancient Alchi and Diskit Monasteries. We also went over the passes of the 3 highest motorable roads in the world. Khardung La Pass. Everything that Amit had organised in our tour was perfect. At the end of the tour, we arrived back in New Delhi to be met by Amit and his driver for a week in New Delhi during which we had private plans to meet up some friends. As we had 2 free days, Amit provided us 2 complimentary tours. The first day, a driver was provided to take us where ever we wanted to go, so we chose to go to do some shopping and visit the Delhi Deer Park. On the other day Amit gave us a complimentary full day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi with a guide and driver. We visited a number modern sites, historical sites and the Spice Markets in the amazing narrow streets of Old Delhi. We greatly appreciated these extra days.
On our final morning in New Delhi, Amit and his driver picked us up at the hotel and drove us to the Airport for our Flight out.
We totally enjoyed everything from our first day to our last day in India. Amit was fantastic and organised everything perfectly. He went out of his way to personally ensure that we had a great time and which we did. They took care of booking the entire accommodation for every location including the not very famous ones. They included some amazing homestays and understood our preferences of both budget and liking very well. The team at offbeat is so hospitable. Since we were on road for almost 10 out of 14 days of our trip, they literally checked on us every day as our family would. They were very prompt and available for anything we needed. The local experiences that offbeat organised for us were the highlight of our trip. From meals with locals to waterfall hikes. It was all mind blowing. The best part is that they have a local partner everywhere who comes and meets you and takes care of you. It’s not just another agency where the team sits in the HO and has no idea of on ground reality. Their team has travelled the terrain and the local partners add so much value.
