What travellers are saying
- James cOklahoma City, OK383 contributionsI was here on a rainy day which tucked at first but got the best close up photography with the dew on tulips. The festival only runs for about 3 wks. There were all colors and breeds of tulips plus a hyacinth and daffodil section. This is a must if you're in srinagar in April.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- James cOklahoma City, OK383 contributionsMy houseboat Mascot houseboatd was on this lake, so I had shikara rides on this lake instead if dal lake. According to other reviews, nigeen lake is much cleaner than dal, it is very clean and the surrounding scenery is just beautiful, especially when the sun is out. I believe the houseboats on nigeen cost more as well. But worth it.Written 3 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Balu2980Pondicherry, India8 contributionsKashmir Travels is a very professional tour operators. Anything we needed was catered and made sure the itinerary was not affected. We , eight of us from different parts of India and Dubai were happy with the arrangements. Hotels were all more than we expected. The house boat was very luxurious and had a very good caretaker. The cars were new and drivers Mr Arif & Mr Faizal were very courteous. They stopped at many places for photo shoots and knew the terrain and roads well. The young man Arslan was helpful in all the tourist spots . Mr Nazir the owner was communicating with us on a daily basis and made sure our comforts were not compromised. All of us being senior citizens was not an issue with helpful team from Kashmir travels. We had an amazing 14 nights 15 days ( Leh included ) well planned and curated tour. Thank you Mr. Nazir and your wonderful and efficient staff. Some of us have already started to plan our trip to Kashmir again during winter .

Ms. Tehmeen coordinated and organized the whole tour nicely.
Both Dal view resort at Srinagar and Sabnam resort at Pehelgam were hygienic. The resort staff behaved nicely, food was good/ healthy.
Last but not the least, driver cum tour guide Waqar bhai was a nice man.
We must tell it's value for money.Written 13 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Padmakar1 contributionIt was our first time to visit Kashmir, hence decided to go with Travel partner-Overseas.
The tour itinerary was well planned with good hotel accommodation as we paid for 4 star hotels (as per their rating- not sure).
Royal Comfort Regency at Srinagar- a good service with nice food (2 nights)
Marina Drung at Gulmarg- At good location (Drung waterfall), good rooms with very bad service ( 1 night)
Sparrow at Pahalgam- a good hotel with nice service (1 night)
Houseboat at Sinagar- (1 night)- here overseas gave us a commitment of Wagnoo Shereton-Nigeen lake (taking extra 3k)- after full payment done, they changed the house boat and conveyed us to stay at Dal Lake --Mahajong---saying that this was an upgrade to make out trip more memorable---
This was something which I feel unprofessional way---
The payment was taken on Petrol Pump via swipe machine (my all transactions of 72k are for Azad Filling)- don't know weather it will cost me more or not)---
A travel company shall have at least their won swipe machine for card payments---
The Driver was with over attitude, more interested in cuts from the vendors wherever he stops for food or shopping- we felt so---he took us at all locations as per his opinion---as we were not aware about the status of open locations at that time- we were completely dependent on him--
Overall, it was a mixed experience for us--- but as a family trip, we enjoyed every moment without cursing to anybody---
most important- the people of Kashmir (Rikshawals, housekeeping, common man, hotel staff, shikara pilot and all those to whom we have interacted) are very humble, helping and caring...Thanks for your kindness--Written 3 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
