We went when it was raining and was difficult to see much. The entrance is pretty narrow for visitors to enter and exit simultaneously

After houseboats and the mountains, it is the moghul gardens for which Kashmir is most famous. But sadly except Shalimar Baag and Noishant Garden, you can skip other gardens. These two gardens are largest and may take a half day for properly explore. Lovely chinar trees increases the beauty of these gardens, add to the view of Dal Lake which are lacking at other gardens.

The views, Autumn colours on Chinar trees were beautiful, the garden itself is a treat but being under renovation there was a lot building material which scattered around which took away from the experience somewhat

Good to visit 15-30mins here… good part is the water is functional from its source. So one can visit and see the water coming out from a natural source.

I went there with my family and my 1.8 year daughter. My daughter had so much fun there as there were so many varieties of plants and flowers. It was so beautiful to see everything at one place

We went on Friday and it was very crowded. However it is well maintained except for their horrible toilet. The stream of water is potable at the source as it coming out from underground

Situated along the banks of dal lake and nestled in hundreds of mighty chinar trees, nasim bagh is a must visit spot for autumn lovers. Nasim Bagh which means the ‘mornning breeze’ stands up to its name as cool breeze from the Dal lake adds pleasantness to the wide expanse of chinar trees.
The Chinar trees are laid out in ‘Char Chinar’ pattern, four chinars in four corners of a rectangular piece of land, so that a person in centre would be under shade at all hours of the day. No place can match the beauty of this place in autumn. during autumn, Warm crimson red leaves falling from the chinar trees fill the campus and truly make it a unique place for visitors.

Lovely large gardens! Take a picnic, take some balls, take a book. There’s a huge playground inside and space to play soccer or badminton. Absolutely love these gardens. On 80 rupee for a family of 5 to enter, plus 30 rupee for parking. What a deal!

Located in the middle of Dal Lake, the island although not well maintained offered an awesome sunset view. Not many people Come to this island and one can therefore enjoy a lonely sunset from this island.

The mughal gardens created during those times were meant to be for public and private.
The water body would bring the small boats from the lake right into the gardens and their significant was amazing. The flowers would bloom in the seasons and were informed that they are worth the beauty.
