Beautiful and adventure place. The location of this valley is very beautiful. The climate of solang valley is very cold during winters and moderately cold during summers. You take so many adventure activities here like paragliding, show scooters and zorbing. Overall the view should be amazing.

The temple can be reached by feet or by car. The roads are a little narrow so suitable for small cars. Beware of the monkeys near the temple. If you wear glasses/sunglasses, then be sure to remove them. The monkeys are notorious for grabbing them. The main temple is beautiful as is the huge statue of Hanuman overlooking all of Shimla.

The Gurudwara needs no reviews to mention the grandeur and serenity that it offers. Famous for its hot water spring. Visit for worship and experience the seva (service).

The place had beautiful buildings and overall architecture. The entrance via lakkar market is also intriguing. However the overall quality of cafe restaurants etc wasn't that great. It's just a highly commercial marketing zone. The views of the valley are quite sweeping

We started our walk from Dharamkot main square for Gallu Devi temple and we simply loved it. Took us 1hr to reach the top and after that we visited the Indra nag temple. View from there was mesmerizing. One cannot miss it. You can take a local taxi for rs500 till Gallu Devi temple as well. For triund, you can start from Dharamkot by walk or else reach Gallu Devi by taxi and then hike. Wonderful day

This is a Buddhist temple and an abode of Dalai Llama in Dharamshala. It has very nice statues of Lord Buddha. The place provides a good view of the Valley of McLeodGanj. A must visit place while in Dharamshala.

Sunshine Himalayan cottage is one of best places to stay . When i entered the place you don't feel like entering just another hotel . There is so much of warmth and love .
Location is just mind blowing . Must stay who love local food . Definitely not for people who want pasta and pizza .

And best part is no loud music or shouting and screaming is allowed .

They also run a co opt society where you pay directly to locals and boost sustainability of valley .

Super easy to do for all ages. First 500 mts is a climb and then the next 1 km is am almost straight path. Fully charted out route. Can go solo also. You will see many people doing this trek. A lot of vendors on the way too. Do buy from them if you get a chance. Do not litter on the way please.

It is an heritage railway. Started by the British over 100 years back. It is an enjoyable journey. Train passes through 104 mountain tunnels and through pristine forests. It climbs from 500 ft altitude at Kalka near Chandigarh to over 6000 ft altitude at Shimla. Be advised to travel only by First Class or AC Executive First class. Carry sufficient food and water with you. Booking for tickets commence 30 days from journey and closes within an hour. Booking is on line
