Its just to give a tick in your checklist if you have visited Arraku Valley. Yes the cave is magnificient and beautiful. But too much of coloured lights have spoilt the natural view of the caves.

Good maintained garden on hill. One thing to note there are 3 ways to go on top 1.By stairs, 2.By Rope, 3.Direct up to the top of hill by car.
Save ur money don't go by ropeway.Rs 150 for both side fare.

    Had a high expectations.

It was jet ski and speed boats but was closed by 4.30pm, when I was there.

Beach is absolutely clean and must visit, especially after visiting Juhu beach in Mumbai 😉.

Cab is tough to get after 6.30pm

We planned to stay two days at Araku but had to abandon our plans on the second morning due to 48-hour bundh called by Araku Girijana Sangham on 06 Jan 2020.

We booked exactly 3 months early to travel by AC Tourist car in Vizag-Kirandul Express. The AC coach (the last bogie in the train) has huge glass windows, making one close to nature. 36 of us travelling in that coach - singing & dancing and enjoying the hills & forest was a memorable experience.

Nothing to write about Araku valley as such except for a few tourist attractions. We could cover Borra caves, Padmapuram Gardens & Tribal Museum. Borra caves are good for checking your physical fitness & tribal museum for shopping & boating.

Non-vegetarians can try the local bamboo chicken sold all over.

The Dolphin Nose Light house is one of the major tourist attractions in Vizag. From here one can view the Bay of Bengal and the Vizag Port. Usually Wednesday is closed for visitors. To enter here one must carry a Govt Issud Id card or passport (for foreigners) and you have to deposit the id to the entry officer. The open timing is from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Being a North Indian I thought I'll have a trouble with native language as I was travelling alone, just once I faced but it is a good place to visit If you are in Vizag. A little far away from the city but views are amazing as it is located on a hill.

Me ( 66) and my wife( 61) Visited these waterfalls on the 21 November. Though my wife recently underwent total.knee replacement , still we set out for Araku and as part of it, this place. Lovely , gushing water from the rocks, nice cascading effect. The steps are not very steep. However, senior citizens( we too are) have to go slow. I climbed down all the steps ( about 100) and reached a bridge. From there, the waterfalls provide an awesome sight.

This place is among the largest shopping malls plus the INOX. Multi storeyed, paid parking, multiple shops including Reliance Digital and furniture. Go there and enjoy if one has enough money to spurge. There's no upper limit almost.

En route to Bheemili Resort, we halted to check out Thotlakonda. The vast expanse of this once-Buddhist-monastery is a quiet, serene and tranquil place. With good views of the sea and plenty of greenery around, it makes for an ideal introspective site. A statue of Lord Buddha sits atop in a spot where we had some photo ops for posterity.

You can drive down to the other end for a view of the monastery (according to our driver) but since we were short of time, we could not.

Lammasingi, a place 75 kms away from TUNI rly station (On the VIJAYAWADA- VISAKHAPATNAM ROUTE) is a place of scenic beauty. We visited the place on the 21 Nov 2021. The moment we got down we were slightly disappointed . However, in about 15 minutes, there was thick fog much to our delight.Since we are senior citizens, we could not venture the trekking, climbing and such related gymanastics-). So we set out to a place called TAJANGI, 10 km into Lammasingi. That place was full of greenery, fog, mist and we were literally lost in the scenic beauty. Howevr, do not compare the place five years or thre years ago. Lot of tourist traffic. So expect crowds on weekdays. If you want to have less crowd, plan your trip betwen a Tuesady and a Friday. There is an attraction of" Abseiling" for the adventurous guys, kids, women...We couldn't, though our spirit is willing. Carry your own drinking water. There is bottled water available but one should be wary of the brand.. Finally, on the Roadside, in a make shift place, a woman selling hot, soft ,steaming idlis, Mysore bondas with chutney is simply mouth- watering. Though we were 61above, we devoured. Enjoy the scene with a bit of boating. Do not waste more time in selfies😀😅
