It’s a bit of of the way but plenty of Uber’s about that will take you and it was easy to get on back into the centre. - Kev OBrighton, UK79 contributionsCharminar is an iconic monument in Hyderabad. It is located in the old city and we took a tuk tuk which in India are called Auto to get there. The short distance between our hotel and the site took over 30 minutes to cover - this is due to the sheer volume of traffic in Hyderabad. We went in the early evening and visited the market/bazaar We spent a couple of hours wandering around the site and side streets
Be prepared to be hassled by stall holders, street hawkers and beggars - it will happen so don't go there unless you are prepared. We bought food and other items at the market and haggled with the stall holders on the price - it was all part of the experience.

The architecture of the temple is very beautiful, the entire temple complex is very peaceful. Would strongly recommend a visit. - SomersetspringTaunton, UK89 contributionsI spent a week in Hyderabad on my travels and Chowmohalla palace was recommended for a visit. It was a great day out and perfect for me. The building itself is superb and looks amazing from the outside. When you go in its even better. The detail in the carvings and the craftsmanship in the floors ceilings and walls is there to be admired. The artefacts are beautifully displayed whethr its the clothing they have preserved, the furniture or the weapons on display, a great deal of effort has been put in for the visitor to enjoy. Then of course there are the vintage cars and bikes - a real treat. Finally, the grounds are so good to walk around - although could do with a bit more shade. Overall this was a great visit. Can have whole tour in zoo
Safari is 150-300 it is crowded and one negative the animals are locked in cage in safari also
Animals were quite active
There is toy train also with 10/- ticket every one should use it quite nice for such a big zoo
There are decent amount of food courts also and good food as well

There is Buddha statue in middle of the Lake
To reach there..
Buy a ticket to enter the Lumbini Park and move on to the ticket counter to buy tickets...they have a speedboat tour for a family of 4. (Rs 400 per trip). But you cant get down from the boat at the statue.
