This historical site is one of Hyderabad's top tourist attractions. The architecture is impressive, and the fort’s history is fascinating. Although we missed the evening light and sound show since we visited during midday, the fort itself was worth exploring. Highly recommend visiting early morning or evening for a more comfortable experience, as it can get quite hot during the day.Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you visit late evening you can witness the beautiful Charminar lit up with lights and roam around the Charminar markets. Only thing to note is that it gets overcrowded in the evening. It has been constructed totally by white marble stones of high quality, with exquisite and intricate carvings, all over.
There is no ticket for entry. Even the lockers for keeping mobile phones and footwear are free. My journey was one of endless hurdles and heartbreak. Despite having every document in perfect order, my visa was rejected. The pain of waiting, the frustration of helplessness—it all felt unbearable.
But just when I was drowning in despair, a divine sign reached me through my colleague’s mother. “Visit Chilkur Balaji once,” she said, and in that moment, I knew it was a call from God Himself. With nothing but faith in my heart, I made my way to the temple—not alone, but with my parents by my side. Together, we prayed with all our hearts, surrendering our worries and hopes at His sacred feet.
And then, the impossible happened. Within just a month, I received my medical request for visa approval. After waiting for two long, agonizing years, I finally landed in Canada in March 2025—just in time before my husband’s visa validity ran out. It felt like the universe had conspired to align everything perfectly, just as it was meant to be.
To anyone struggling with visa rejections, delays, or hopelessness, I say this—visit Chilkur Balaji with unwavering faith. Pour your heart out to Him, believe in His power, and watch the miracles unfold in your life. Trust me, when you surrender to Him, He moves heaven and earth to answer your prayers.
Wishing all of you strength, faith, and the miracle you’ve been waiting for.Written 15 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
