- Road11394948980Surat, India5 contributionsHistoric place. Parking is a bit farther from the main gate but at a walkable distance. Advance entry tickets is preferable. Laser show is a must. One can feel the plight of the freedom fighters during that era. Great for kids as well.Written 15 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Deepak_01Bengaluru, India7,764 contributionsBeautiful and serene island at a short distance by boat from Port Blair. The drive is scenic and the island is definitely a must visit for its colonial buildings and rich historical significance.Lots of greenery and peaceful ambience.Deers roaming around freely is a wonderful experience.Lots of peacocks and other birds are added attraction. The driver of the battery driven vehicle acts as a guide too One can also walk around and explore the place. The battery operated car needs proper monitoring since the system of alloting tickets and queues are too archaic and chaotic.Written 20 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AshishAnchalNoida, India92 contributionsNice place nice staff just what is missing is a slight punch of navy. Once being operated by Indian Navy, finish what you call as navy edge does not exists there.
If they can arrange one or two staff in naval dress to be present at the museum particularly for weapons section then it would be nice.
A small section for kids to encourage them to join navy, some section of valour of navy would be more appreciable.

- James cOklahoma City, OK414 contributionsI took a ferry here with Ross island pkg which is book at port blair jetty. You will spend more time here. This place is specifically designed for water sports plus there's a lighthouse to explore which I missed. I did the snorkeling which cost 1000 rupees including gear and 100 for locker. I ended up paying another 1000 rupees so I could be taken out further with more time and glad I did. The guide allowed me to view very colorful coral gardens with vivid fish but be careful I got many cuts from the coral.Written 12 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
