Mahmoud tour guide is very good and informative. He knows a lot about Egyptian history and helps us understand many fun facts about Aswan and Luxor. He would make sure everything is going in place and we get everyone together even in the midst of many other tours at the temples and streets.

The guide made I and my family trip to Egypt so memorable. The driver that came to pick us at the hotel allowed me use the bus to play song the whole trip . The quad ride was good and do bring your scarves , clear glasses. The dinner was so good we all had seconds. I highly recommend this guide and tour

Excellent day out on the reef-amazingly clear water and abundance of colourful reef fish. Very crowded with divers and snorkelers even in January.
The crew aboard the boat Roufa were excellent, booked through Starco in Sharm el Sheikh (Ahmed) kept us entertained all day. Lunch provided was good

We went to cairo on 25th (wednesday) and in overall it was a very nice. We travelled with 3 small children (3yo,5yo and 7yo) the bus drive is long so have that in mind, however it was night as we got picked up around 00:30 and arrived to the main bus around 01:00 am so kids was sleeping untill 8 o'clock and by that time we was almost in cairo. There is a toilet and air conditioner in the bus, we also took some stops for toilet and brekfast. The staff was nice the only thing is that I feel like in Russian was given more info then in English (as a Polish person I could understand some parts and in English they were never mentioned, after all when we arrived to cairo our guide was speaking English). In Cairo we spend all day. We was moving fast from one activity to the other but they were trying to show us as much as they could. In museum everything was well explained and we had time to look around. Any questions we had our guide answered, he was very friendly and told us some facts about town as well when we drived from one thing to the other. In my opinion pyramids and museum is most interesting. If someone feel like they missed out on papyrus museum cause they went to the perfume shop insted - we visited both and I can tell you, in both they'll just try to sell you goods more then explaining how things are made. However the museum and shop visit was on the way anyway and we did not spend long time in there around 10 minutes. Then before pyramids we went to eat. It was a buffet type of restaurant. Friendly staff, local cuisine it was nice to try actually. The owner brought some chips for our kids as well and i think this was very kind of him a specially that my little girl is a fussy eater so that was thoughtful. On pyramids and Sphinx we spend over 2h and I am glad we had our guide with us as locals can be really hard to deal with and try to get money from you on every step, sell you something or make you pay for taking picture. I was really stressed at some point a specially with my little one not feeling well and every step I took someone was jumping out with random things. Our guide however instructed us before we got there and told us what can happen and how to deal with it, he did talked to them few times as well, once to allow us take a picture on the rock otherwisewe would need to pay I assume. He even offered to take a picture for us multiple times without asking for $$$ 😅 The experience is nice but as I said be ready for long bus drive each way minimum 8h and on the way back you'll be exhausted 😁

The team who run the experience themselves were very attentive and welcoming, even getting my 10yo his own quad and sitting in the back of his and letting us separate from the main group at times to make sure he was comfortable and confident driving on his own eventually. The photographer was very attentive and the staff running the activity were very patient and allowed extra time for us to get a bunch of lovely memorable snaps.

We were initially told to pay for scarves, however I showed the tripadvisor page stating scarves were included to the English speaking member of staff and he quickly said ‘ok no problem’ so that was very quickly resolved.

    Downsides:
When booking, the pick up time stated 3:30. Touritos later told me 4am on WhatsApp. The driver did not turn up until 4:40 am and Touritos would not answer constant calls and messages both via WhatsApp and tripadvisor while we were waiting. The company were not picking us up from reception therefore me and my child were waiting by the main road in the cold for a very lengthy period of time. Until today (2 days later) Touritos have not contacted me to apologise or find out how things ended which is extremely disappointing.

When the excursion was over the same driver dropped us back. We were the last ones to be dropped off. He very inappropriately put into google translate that he wanted to kiss me so that he could show me in English. At this point my son was lying on my shoulder and I’m very lucky he didn’t look up at the phone.

Honestly the team who run the excursion are lovely. I know that Touritos is most likely a completely separate entity who refer customers to them and take a commission. Also the driver isn’t a part of the experience so his behaviour isn’t their fault.

But these are things to be aware of nonetheless.

I wouldn’t book another excursion through Touritos personally. I like spending my money where I’m valued.

I am not happy with this company at all! They sent an email the night before saying pick up time was 1pm the following day. My partner and I waited about 20 minutes and there was nothing. I sent emails to find out what was going, no response. I had to go through the hassle of asking the hotel guard to use his phone after looking up their contact details online only to tell me that “I sent them a message to cancel the previous night” I did not send that message, the lady’s tone was not apologetic at all in fact it was not sincere at all. She kept accusing me that I had cancelled the excursion. She then realised it was another person who had cancelled! At no point did she apologise for all this! She then sent a car 30 minutes later but this had affected our day already because we had other activities scheduled after parasailing! I was not happy at all!

The actual parasailing was great! The guys were helpful! I doubt they are the same company though, seemed LOYG tours just looks for clients for the parasailing people! I am not happy at all!

I'd like to start first with something I feel is important in hopes that people will see it easily...

The trip includes an optional extra visit to a Nubian village in Aswan. It's amazing there, you should really go. However, this visit includes crocodiles being held inside the home of a Nubian family. The family give you the option to hold a baby crocodile. I understand that this might be fun and adventurous to many, but I urgeee you to avoid it, please. The baby crocodiles are kept in a BUCKET with their MOUTHS TAPED SHUT, and fished out every few minutes to be passed around for photos. There were also two adult crocodiles there being kept in a tiny enclosure (couldn't move at all) with just a puddle of water. It was heartbreaking to see. I understand that this family are just trying to make money, and I want to highlight that the food and service there was lovely, they are nice people. The problem is the tourists who don't think about the reality they're seeing in front of their eyes and who prioritise a "cool" Instagram picture over the well-being of these animals. Please please, refuse to hold them, and make it clear to your guide that you don't like the situation. This is the only way it can be changed. If everyone refuses, they will stop doing it.

Moving on... the tour was amazing, everything was great and really good value for money. 4 days is quite short to pack it all in; early mornings and lots of moving around, but if you're on a budget and/or short on time it's a fantastic option. If you value a bit more downtime, maybe opt for a longer tour.

You see all the main sites and Mahmoud is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who accompanies you to each one to give you the info. On day 3 you spend the afternoon cruising up the Nile to Luxor and the views are insane! Super beautiful. The food on the boat was very good with lots of options, friendly staff. Really happy we booked this trip :)

Amazing trip and very well organized all around. Our tour guide Mohammed was fantastic and full of energy and excitement every day of the trip. Ahmed was our tour guide for the first day only and was also very accommodating taking us to local places in Luxor. Bassant was phenomenal and helpful as we were planning everything. Overall great experience and well worth the money.
