    Day trip to Luxor
    We had a great, informative day in Luxor, with a professional, safe driver and knowledgeable guide. The tour felt a little rushed at times but with the 5-hour drive (one way) and packing so much into one day, this was expected. We did tip at the end but really appreciated that no one pushed us to do so or to buy anything extra; so the day could even be done without any cash. Optional expenses that are not included in the price: 10 EUR per person to cross the Nile by boat (worth it, really pleasant experience), 20 EUR per person to visit Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings, and beverages at lunch.

    Wonderful!
    Wonderful experience! Our guide (Abdul number 2) was so attentive, knowledgeable, kind and funny! We can’t recommend him highly enough! Very tiring day though so be prepared (wear comfy shoes). Worth paying the extra for the boat, camel and to see inside the pyramids!

    Great Luxor trip with guide Mohamed Mustafa
    Great Luxor trip with a shuttle bus from Hurghada. Everything was well planned and the van ride was quite fast (4 hours going there and about 3 hours coming back).
    The highlight of the trip was definitely the tour guide Mohamed Mustafa. He is very knowledgeable and speaks good English and German. He also points out how not to get scammed, which is avoiding any eye contact with the sales people at the various sites.
    We did one additional stop at a souvenir factory. They show you how lamps are made. If you are not looking for anything, let them know you are only looking and that you don't want to buy anything.
    If you want to buy souvenirs, wait until the Karnak temple. There is an official museum shop with price tags on all things. Buy there instead.

    Extra costs:
    - if you want to see the inside of the Tomb of Tut Ankh Amun, then this is an additional 300 EGP per person. This ticket needs to be purchased before entering the Valley of Kings. Just let your tour guide know. I personally recommend doing it. When are you going to get the chance to be there in person again?!
    -drinks at the lunch stop. about 70 EGP for fruit juices and 45 for coke, sprite etc.
    - 5-10 EGP for using the various public toilets. Be sure to keep some small notes ready!
    - any tips at the end for the tour guide if you want to

    A friend in Egypt
    Mahmoud our tour guide is an incredible man. He is now a dear friend. He treated us like family. I was so scared coming to Egypt and because of him I felt safe. I had a large group of fourteen including two toddlers. He accommodated us fully and helped us with more than ten tour provided. He was a very honest man, funny, friendly, knowledgeable and had many resources. We had a great time so many great memories. I highly recommend Mahmoud request him if you get the chance. Great professional company worth more than I paid.

    We loved this trip! Yes, the journey is difficult and could be more user friendly, as it took over 2 hours to get to the edge of the city due to hotel pick ups and 3 changes from one minibus to the next which felt quite scary at night and with the drivers just saying "another bus" and pointing to the one we had parked up next to! We were picked up at 1.30am which was communicated to us the day before which was fine. We arrived in Cairo just after 9am so it was a long journey! Cairo is amazing, the museum was great, we had a guide called Hanen, she was so interesting and fun. The pyramids were insane! It was all so good. Definitely a must do if you are in Hurghada.

    A wonderful experience and a must-do excursion!
    I would highly recommend this excursion. Ahmed our driver was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. We were collected early from our hotel in Hurghada and had a long drive to Luxor in a very comfortable car. Ahmed provided snacks, drinks, pillows and even a film or two on a big screen for entertainment.
    First stop was Karnak Temple where we met Mr Said who was our English speaking guide for the day. Due to Ahmed’s prompt arrival the temple was not that busy when we arrived. Said took us all around the temple and pointed out things of interest and gave us great history on the temple. What an amazing place!
    Then we had an early lunch in a very nice restaurant on the banks of the River Nile, again, beating the crowds.
    On to a small boat for a 45m tour down the river (which isn’t included in the price and is optional, but we all wanted to do it) and Mr Said pointed out various temples on the river banks.
    We had the opportunity to visit three tombs at the Valley of the Kings, and Said recommended three of the best which we took him up on. We were left to explore these alone and met up again after each for a bit more information from Said on the upcoming tomb. Stunning hieroglyphics and so much of the beautiful paint still vibrant.
    Hatshepsut Temple was next. What a wonderful site. Against Said was full of knowledge and a great guide. We had time to wander around ourselves and take in the beautiful view.
    From there we visited the Colossi of Memnon and an alabaster factory where you can learn about how this stone is carved. After this Ahmed drove us back to Hurghada. By this time we were very tired but still made it back in time for evening meal.
    I couldn’t recommend Ahmed and Said’s excursion highly enough. They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. You must do this trip!!

    Great tour!
    I highly recommend booking this tour! The organisation and transit from Hurghada to Kairo worked very well, we were picked up on time, the minibus was very comfortable and as we were only a group of 4, there was plenty of space. The two drivers brought us to Kairo very quickly, which made it possible for us to enjoy a boat tour on the Nile before visiting the Egyptian Museum. The tour guide Mamadouh was a real treasure! He has answers about everything that could possibly come to your mind concerning ancient and modern egypt.

    It was really lovely day. The best trip ever. The crew was so friendly and helpful especially Nasser. We really enjoyed diving, snorkeling and fishing. Also they are providing guests with antistress massage.
