- Sofia MKolkata (Calcutta), India29 contributionsThe entire experience was AMAZING!! The snorkelling experience has been one of the best which I will remember for a lifetime. The seaside is just so peaceful and calming. I wish I could just sit there every day and watch the sunset and sunrise. Kicker Rock is a must-visit for the people coming to this area. Reaching here is easy as it is well connected with ferry and airport terminal.Written 11 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EmiliaBerlin, Germany81 contributionsGreat trekk from town. There is plenty of option of how much you'd like to follow the path, depending on fitness and quality of shoes: from a nice walk on a paved path on the cliff, with a nice beach and a lovely snorkeling spot, to a 2 km (each way), down a steep hill and over boulders of volcanic rocks.Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa WWorcestershire, UK283 contributionsThis is a free activity and is good for wildlife watching, ie birds, iguanas. Pathways lead to good viewing platforms and snorkelling spots.Written 19 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EmiliaBerlin, Germany81 contributionsGiving it 4 stars because the beach itself is nothing special, you'll see the same sea lions, crabs and iguanas you can find on any other beach on the island. It's a nice snorkeling location, though there are better.
It was, however, a nice refreshment and rest stop at the end of the 2km trekk, which was challenging and rewarding.
I'd say, don't take the trekk for the sake of visiting this beach, but if you make the trekk, make sure to finish it on the beach and get some rest, maybe take a refreshing swim in the clear water, before heading back.Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a non-stop show with the sea lions! Not ideal for swimming or sunbathing.Written 14 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - indie_diveJakarta, Indonesia405 contributionsIt is about 2 km walk to reach the statue from the Centro de Interpretacion. You will see a panoramic view of the cliff and maybe you will spot birds around the statue.
The statue itself is huge. Good thing that no one did any vandalisms on the statue. Some irresponsible tourists have marked their names on the rocks along the way to reach the statue.Written 8 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - goretti m52 contributionsSantiago helped me to achieve my life dream of diving in the Galapagos. He is a super experienced diver who can guide you in any dive you wish. He has the technical knowledge of diving but also he knows the dive sites to the details so he can bring you to the right sport to see whatever you dream of; hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, sea horses, sea liona, penguins… just make your wish and he will make it a reality.
Santiago is also a naturalist guide and he brought us to discover the beauties of the land too. He guided us in bartholomew island, Santiago island and Sheymour north. He explained us every animal behavior and the origin of the islands in a very illustrative way. He also helped me and some other friends later to plan our trips and make the most out of our Galapagos experience.
Santiago is caring and will make sure that you have an unforgettable experience in the Galapagos. I’ve recommended him already to my friends and I will do to anyone looking for the best in the Galapagos.Written 2 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
