What travellers are saying
- Luis DParis, France84 contributionsThis is a sublime and unique place and its powerful energy makes it a magical experience. And there are so many amazing other temples in the area but you need the best local driver to take you and show you around as I had (on a nice, confortable AC car).
Bona is the best driver I could ever ask for. We met by chance when I arrived at the airport. He is super kind, smiling always, very professional, trustworthy and he knows so well his way around these temples and how to get the best photos. He shows you all surrounding mountains, beautiful waterfalls and fishing villages where you go for scenic boat trips.
I feel grateful that I found him. Contact Bona by WhatsApp: +855 92 523 310Written 8 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Its pretty special and I'd put it up there with the Taj Mahal and Machu Picchu. - KiteRite22Batemans Bay, Australia33 contributionsWhat an amazing morning spent with these magnificent elephants and the lovely young men who care for them. My teen son and I were thrilled to visit this sanctuary, and the hands on experience feels very respectful of the beautiful animals. This is definitely a trip to prioritise near Siem Reap. Be prepared to get messy - it is a delight and a great privilege to share the morning.Written 19 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sue D5 contributionsHappily surprised at how well all the horses looked. Beautiful set up. Enjoyed my two hour ride with the guide following village roads, going through rice fields and being greeted by local people. Highly appreciative of the high Viz wearing staff who stopped the main road traffic allowing us to cross safely. Although it's not the cheapest of riding experiences it was worth every penny.
The stables will organise tuk tuk transport to and from your hotel that takes around 20 minutes.Written 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Through his guidance we got to walk through some of the lesser known Siem Reap temples without any other tourists. As a guide, Sarak immediately grasps what your group is after and develops a customized experience. We of course were taken to the Angkor Watt and Angkor Thomb sites, which were spectacular. However, the jungle walks to the more out of the way sites are what made our trip remarkable. Moreover, he captured photos that were of a professional calibur, that we will have for a a lifetime. He is the kind of soul who finds true enjoyment in the happiness and awe of others. Book him for 2 full days.Written 11 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sally DNew York12 contributionsI had such a wonderful experience this morning with a sunrise yoga class and massage. The class was great and the setting incredible - so special to practice with the sun rising. The massage afterwards was also wonderful. I was very well cared for from beginning to end, I am so glad I got to have this unique experience while in Siem Reap.Written 15 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Naomi B3 contributionsBeautiful walk with the Kulen elephants retired since 2019. You get to make their food and then feed them prior to walking with them. After the walk you can watch while they play in the water. Loved it!Written 26 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yifei W2 contributionsWe went on the Beng Mealea tour with Sam and our drive Teara. Sam is really knowledgeable and keeps good pace showing us around the temple. Pointed us to interesting animals and sights along the way. He also arranged so that we avoid the crowds at all places. Teara takes really good care of us and gets us to places right on time.Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sherif M1 contributionExcellent tour from start to end. Professional guides with deep local knowledge. Friendly guides (Ly Sang and Kim) and driver were very accommodating to our needs. Amazing locations were navigated very expertly to avoid the crowds and access the best views, while also covering everything expertly and thoroughly. Would definitely return to visit again when possible.Written 5 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nowshad CLondon, UK19 contributionsThis was such a fun morning. Theak and Giant were the guys who accompanied me as they took me around the park and they are both just unbelievably nice guys and really friendly.
Does zip planes themselves were really good fun and thrilling.
A tip. Book the transfer with Angkor Zipline as it is located quite far from central Siem Reap in a remote location.Written 4 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He set up a great three day route for me (including an amazing sunrise view) and gave me lots of awesome info about the sites. He took some amazing photos and was always ready with cold water when I got back. I cannot recommend him more, next time I’m back I know exactly who I will be contacting. Thank you for an amazing trip Keo!Written 3 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 007darlingPhnom Penh, Cambodia21 contributionsWe booked a private ride to include riding around the wall/rampant of Angkor Thom.
Even though the temples were very busy for the Pchum Ben holiday, we hardly saw another person in the wide paths on top on the Angkor Thom wall.
The tour was very well organised and the bikes were high quality and in good condition.
Our guide was knowledge about history, but we were especially grateful that he could show us the many trails around the site. A lot of the riding was shaded by trees, so we were able to keep out of the heat. We went at a nice pace for our kids and stopped where we wanted. Our tour included a tasty lunch at a local restaurant.
I would highly recommend if you want to escape the crowds and have an active adventure day.Written 3 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My 17 year old son had a great first time quad experience and Sothea our guide was fantastic - friendly and informative. We went around 8.30am and it wasn’t too hot but wear sunscreen. Shorts and Tshirt was fine. Definitely recommend if you’re in Siem Reap!Written 1 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
