Bayon temple is the most beautiful and stunning temple in Angkor Thom complex. It stands with 54 towers and each tower has four faces look every direction. I really appreciate and love this very much. Because the piece of stone and stone to be towers with astonishing faces smiling at everyone. Can’t see these type of temples everywhere in the world. But in Cambodia. Love love love love Bayon temple.

Home of "Tomb Raider" this is another slightly different from the normal temple.
Not huge and nicely accessible. Get your Tuk Tuk driver to drop you off one side and pick you up the other.

We had a wonderful Tuk-Tuk Driver (Mr. Kim Tuk-Tuk Driver) who was recommended to us by a friend who had visited the temples a few months ago. We reached out to Mr. Kim on WhatsApp and arranged for him to tour us for the day and provide a licensed guide, which he gladly did. This was our second stop after visiting Angkor Wat and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Having a guide along really makes a difference. In addition, this temple is not as busy as Angkor Wat so it was a more relaxed visit as we didn't have the clouds. Our guide was excellent in interpreting the murals that are carved into some of the walls which was very interesting and something we would have completely missed if he wasn't with us.

There are no words to describe it. We spent two full days in the park and every moment was worth it. Among the temples that impressed us most were Bayon, Angkor and Ta Prohm. A highlight: the sunset at Pre Rup.

We went on a little walk and ended up entering through the little used south entrance to Preah Khan.

What stood out for me after visiting this temple was the abundance of detailed and intricate carvings found through the complex but especially in the Hall of Dancers. There also was a number of them defaced as the temple was converted to Hinduism.

Many courtyard, covered passageways but also more jumbled piles waiting to be restored. An unusual feature were many walls and columns had holes in them that were suspected of being used to secured bronze plates. That would have been amazing to see.

We also came across an empty stupa inside.

One of the most unusual buildings was seemingly constructed of Greek style columns and informally called a library. It was interesting to ponder if there was any contact between those civilizations.

Neak Pean is a Mahayana Buddhist Temple built on an artificial island on an artificial lake in the late 12th century. The artificial lake is the Jayatadak Boray aproximately 3.5 km long and 900 meters wide. The island has a central pool with the Buddhist temple rising from the center of the pool and four pools around the central pool representing the four elements (earth, fire, wind, and water). The Cambodian government is currently doing restoration works on all of the pools and the canals that feed the pools from the artificial lake around the temple island to preserve the site. It is a very cool temple, but since the temple is in the pool you can't get right next to it.

The most important gate of Angkor Thom, where the victorious Khmer forces paraded after having won the battle. One of the iconic motives of Angkor. Very beautiful.

Incredible 4-hand massage! I can’t find words to describe how formidable this massage was! Thanks Mrs. Saphoang Mrs. and Sopha for this wonderful experience! Not only a relaxing massage but also a phychological experience. The place including the reception, toilets and massage room look peaceful with a beautiful decoration. I was welcomed with a delicious passionfruit drink. Also, the music in the room enhances the atmosphere. It may sound crazy but I felt like I was dreaming during the massage. I highly recommend it!

It was the first time I had a massage in Cambodia and it was really great experience! Very nice service and relaxing atmosphere: music, delicious tea and even mango🥹
I chose an aroma massage, I recommend it if you need to reboot.
