- Richard R1 contributionThis was our first night in Siem Reap. After a delicious riverside dinner, my wife and I walked the night market. Feeling too tired to walk back to the hotel, and even unsure as to how to get there, we found a Tuk Tuk driver near the Riverside Market - Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang did a great job bringing us safely to our hotel. He navigated the many twists and turns in the crowded streets and avoided the multitude of scooters whizzing by. If you're looking for a safe and reliable driver to take you around Siem Reap, then call Mr. Wang. +855965212576Written 15 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ted S1 contributionAbsolutely incredible experience!! Visiting Angkor might just be the highlight of your trip to Southeast Asia. And Chen might just be the best person to show you everything you might want to see.
He's very knowledgeable of the history and makes efficient use of time. Takes your personal safety seriously. Chen is very easy to communicate with and a pleasure to be around. Super intuitive, no hesitation to recommend him for the solo traveler or those traveling with families.
The only advice I can offer is to book in advance and budget an extra day or two because of the extensive number of temples to visit. It won't be regretted.Written 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Toyota van was clean & comfortable. The driver was calm and experienced. We felt safe.
We were dropped off at our hotel with pick up the next day at a time of our choosing to return to Siem Reap.
I was surprised that no payment (or a portion of the payment) was requested when we were dropped off at our hotel in Battambang. It was really nice to see that trust in humanities still exists.
Price for the trip was reasonable also.Written 8 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WesleytravelAmsterdam, The Netherlands10 contributionsSavoeurn was a great driver for us over two days in Angkor Wat. So good in fact we ended up using him for everything else. He’s very friendly and speaks great English always putting our needs first. He also arranged a guide for us and he (Kim) was also fantastic. I’d highly recommend them both. Great value for money too.Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sue D5 contributionsHappily surprised at how well all the horses looked. Beautiful set up. Enjoyed my two hour ride with the guide following village roads, going through rice fields and being greeted by local people. Highly appreciative of the high Viz wearing staff who stopped the main road traffic allowing us to cross safely. Although it's not the cheapest of riding experiences it was worth every penny.
The stables will organise tuk tuk transport to and from your hotel that takes around 20 minutes.Written 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We used him for airport pick-ups, trips to the temples and floating village, as well as for the four-hour each way trip to Battambang. He speaks very good English, which enabled him to give us information as we drove around and to answer questions we had. The restaurants he either took us to or recommended were all excellent. He was also very flexible in dealing with any change in plans we had. He helped to make our stays in Siem Reap and Battambang truly memorable.Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tezza1961London, UK49 contributionsWhat a charming, courteous and delightful young man Daniel is. He was recommended to us by friends and he certainly did not disappoint. We used Daniel for two of our four days in Siem Reap, one day for Angkor Wat and the surrounding Angkor City and Temples. We wanted the Sunset trip and he arrived just before our promised time of 5am. His charges were extremely reasonable (much better than formal tour operators) and includes water which is essential. He will also organise a reliable guide if wanted (we didn’t as we like to roam) He knows the area extremely well and we stopped for an early morning coffee at Angkor Wat. After leaving Angkor Wat and before visiting the surrounding temples, Daniel also took us to a wonderful restaurant for breakfast (not part of his fee). Day two we went to Tonle Sap Lake and floating village away from the touristy area which was great. His driving (nice and calm), tourist skills and local knowledge are exceptional and we couldn’t ask more of him. Thank you Daniel for making our trip so magical!Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Clare P1 contributionWe had a day with Ms Chan Chan and it was absolutely amazing. We were picked up at 5am for our Temple tour. Ms Chan Chan made sure to give us her advice on the best places to be and at what times and everytime she was correct. We were provided with bottled water and snacks along the way. We received cold flannels after the temples and it was perfect.
The best part of my Siem Reap trip was spending the day touring with Ms Chan Chan. Friendly, professional, safe and knowledgable. 100% recommend.
We also met Ms Kim and another lady tuk tuk driver just after Angkor wat sunrise and they are so supportive of one another, it was a wonderful thing to experience.
Keep smiling Ms Chan Chan! Thank you.Written 8 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We found cowboy through a YouTube video and he was with us during the whole time in siem reap and partially in Phnom Penh.
We interchange between his top tax and his large minivan, which was super comfortable and clean.
We had such a great time with cowboy. He was entertaining, informative, punctual, and just such a genuine and lovely person..
He Arranged a private tour guide for us in angkor wat and gave us a great massage recommendation, as well as drove us to and around Phnom Penh.
