It was the 4th temple from our guided tour, and we were too tired to explore Bayon by then. So we made a 2nd visit, and was very glad we did. Spectacular. Don't miss Baphuon temple which is 8-minutes walk away.

This temple is famous for its giant tree roots growing over the ancient ruins. It felt like stepping into another world! A must-visit for history lovers and photographers.

Angkor Thom was a huge city built in the 12th and 13th centuries and is thought to have been home to over a million people. The wooden buildings have disappeared over the centuries, leavin the magnificent remains of temples, palaces and walls for 21st centry vistors to admire. The scale is awe-inspiring but so is the intricate detail of the carving. An unforgettable visit.

This was perhaps our favourite temple of the many we saw in our stay in Siem Reap. It is older (10th century) and smaller than some of the others such as Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat and the scale felt more human. The detailed carvings are stunning.

Made in Cambodia is a must visit market in Siem Reap if you are looking for high quality items and want to support local artisans. Each stall is different, it's smaller and quieter than other markets and so the experience is far more pleasant. The main thing is that you'll find excellent quality goods. I bought a blanket from Sokhem at the Art of Textiles in 2016 and it's still so soft and the colours vibrant 9 years on I wanted to buy a different colour. Superb quality, choice and a great price.

I cannot believe our luck in finding Kakada. He was the ultimate tour guide for us. We spent two unforgettable days with him. He went at our pace all the time, and was flexible in what we saw and when. He is kind, very knowledgeable, and professional. This is to say nothing of his photography skills. If he is available, I strongly advise you to book him.

Very touristic but value for money, both for boat trip and walking visit of the village (dry season and french local guide). Boat drivers are safe, toilets (clean ones) available in the floating coffee shop

We visited the ACCB as part of a tour and would otherwise not have been aware of it. The organisation specialises in the preservation of endangered species, especially birds. Our guide round the site was knowledgeable and eager to share his enthusiasm. He was happy to repond to our questions. It gave us insights into a different side of Cambodia from the many temples we visited and was a very enjoyable visit.

We visited this Butterfly conservation Centre during a brief stop, on our way to the Angkor Temples. Quite interesting and a large range of butterflies. The Centre helps to improve local welfare as well as improving conservation efforts.

This was our first night in Siem Reap. After a delicious riverside dinner, my wife and I walked the night market. Feeling too tired to walk back to the hotel, and even unsure as to how to get there, we found a Tuk Tuk driver near the Riverside Market - Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang did a great job bringing us safely to our hotel. He navigated the many twists and turns in the crowded streets and avoided the multitude of scooters whizzing by. If you're looking for a safe and reliable driver to take you around Siem Reap, then call Mr. Wang. +855965212576

We visited this “floating village” with Community First, an organisation who use the proceeds from the tours to fund a local school, medical services, community education and anti-plastic program.
Our pick up and drops offs in SR were straight forward and the guide, who himself was born in the village, was very welcoming and informative. He gave us real insight into the life here and issues affecting Cambodia more widely.
There was quite a long time spent in the school house on telling us about the organisation itself and I would rather have walked around the village more, although you do feel voyeuristic at times doing this sort of thing.
The boat trip was good and we were treated to a lovely sunset - it would have been even better with refreshments.

Probably my favorite temple on the "Minor Circuit". More manageable than the Angkors Wat and Thom, and the tree growth is unlike anything you've ever seen. Don't miss it.

It is a beautiful place with pristine and refreshing water flowing down the hill. Despite the crowds it was a fun visit. A small descent and you suddenly see the water flowing and the gentle waterfall

This terrace was interesting to see & part of our tour of different temples.
Our guide explained how The King would sit watch celebrations & ceremonies.
It is also the gateway to other temples we visited on this section of our tour.
