- Angela FLuxembourg City, Luxembourg106 contributionsStopped here out of curiosity and so glad we did. Only a very small museum but packed with information about a very sad period in Cambodia’s history. The museum was set up by a former Khmer Rouge child soldier who made it his life’s mission to remove as many mines as possible from Cambodian soil. He also gave homes to many orphaned and unwanted children. Lots of information here. Well worth a visit.Written 19 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lesley61Richmond, UK197 contributionsWe really enjoyed our visit to this museum (before visiting Angkor Wat) it gave us a perspective on what we we would be experiencing. It is very modern, very organised and well laid out. The artefacts are clearly labelled in English and there are 5-6 videos to watch as you go round that are available in English. We easily spent 2 hours at the museum and didn’t buy the audio trail.Written 19 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mikecIndonesia5 contributionsSuch an amazing experience. Get your camera out and get ready to be transported into 3D worlds where you become part of the scene. Suddenly your in a Roman chariot, then a Gondola in Venice , next your walking across deep ravines on a narrow rickety foot bridge or surfing the barrel of wave. To top it all off , there is also an immersive sound and light show. We had so much fun over the 90 minutes it took us . Pure fun and fantasy. We’re so glad we found The Art Box.Written 9 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Very interesting to learn how different fabrics have been traditionally woven and coloured, and to see the fabrics used in traditional dress of the various Asian countriesWritten 20 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable about all matters associated with mines and their deadly impact. He spoke excellent English and took the time to answer my questions. The museum has a great display of all sorts of mines and war equipment.
Its hard to see the visual impact and human damage the mines have done, but the museum is definitely worth a visit and I recommend it to give context to Cambodian history.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
