Although Pubs & Pub streets are alike , this was a cool adventure. The tuk tuk drivers were animated and funny as we enjoyed our black beer experience.

Went by tuk tuk from Siem Reap so was casual and not commercial. Flooded forest is something special to experience. Reminds me of Inle Lake in Myanmar. A nice day outing.

We visited the Kampong Khleang stilt house village and floating village during the 'wet' season, which meant that the village was only accessible by boat. This was a wonderful way to spend half a day. From my investigations, Kampong Khleang is still very authentic compared to the other villages that were closer to Siem Reap (which apparently had become very touristy, and villagers were not benefiting from the tourist trade, instead, large corporates/companies have taken over).

Impressive temple, like all of them in the area. The old trees are impressive too. It seems that this was the temple where Tomb Raider was filmed.

Unsure if this trip initially but really pleased I went
Round trip go for at least 2 hours to the villages to see local life and wildlife
Restaurant boats go to interesting but I would recommend only drinking cans
The crocodiles are very popular and you can feed
Local rowboats go from the restaurant to farms
    Take wet wipes or similar

Banteay Samre is a hidden gem within the Angkor Archaeological Park, offering visitors the chance to explore the magnificent history and architecture of the Khmer Empire. This temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, showcases stunning sandstone carvings and intricate bas-reliefs depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. The peaceful atmosphere and lack of crowds make it a perfect spot for quiet contemplation and reflection. History buffs and architecture enthusiasts will appreciate the beauty and significance of Banteay Samre, a must-visit destination in Cambodia. Don't miss the opportunity to capture the beauty of this lesser-known temple with your camera.

Just on the opposite side of the road from Sra Srang, this temple is not visited that much (or maybe we we vsited when it was not peak season) so it's a more peaceful visit without having everyone around you.

A smaller site but still can admire it's architecture.

These temples are further away from the city centre but definitely worth a visit. The drive takes more than an hour to an hour and half each way but the visit can be done in about half a day. Did these and visited the floating village on the same day.

A beautiful pagoda in the town with wonderful stories to read and listen to. The TukTuk drivers outside prove excellent guides and share the stories of this pagoda and the reclining Buddha inside.

We visited this place on our first day in Siem Reap and we felt was a good introduction to Siem Reap.

We spent a couple of days with Chen visiting temples and other sights in his tuk tuk. He is very safe and the tuk tuk ride was one of our favourite things.. very relaxing and fun. He always had a cold drink and lovely chilled lemony towels when we returned to the tuk tuk. Chen is helpful, knowledgeable and a kind friendly person. We would highly recommend.

The food here was delicious and they had a great drinks menu as well. The work New Hope does looks like it really helps the community and assists students with their education and many more things. I hope they can continue their good work.

The workshop/gallery is set in a lovely building with luscious greenery surrounding it.

The artwork is truly beautiful, and the prices fantastic. They wrap your pieces up very carefully so they can be protected in your suitcase.

The staff are friendly and obviously very passionate about their work.

Highly recommend visiting here for a truly Cambodian piece of art.

Since the Royal Palace at Angor Thom was made of wood only parts of the foundation remain. Not that interesting. The Phimeanakas which is a temple still standing is beautiful. It is nice to spend a few minutes looking at it

Wandered through here because it was close to my hotel. Lots of upscale shops with a wide range of Cambodian handicrafts and other products, including one that gives samples of various flavored rice whiskeys. Worth a visit and even a place to buy.
