- Maddie P6 contributionsHad a great time on this trip. Ray was really great and very knowledgeable. He always made sure to wait for everyone before leaving anywhere. They gave us bottles of water every time we got back on the bus. Easy pickup and drop off from the hotel. Only thing I would recommend is to bring a snack with you for the morning since we didn’t stop for “breakfast” until about 10:30. We were able to take a breakfast box from our hotel but the tour will stop at a local cafe/restaurant for drinks and food. On board our bus , the driver Kiel would frequently offer complimentary water and wet towels to help with the heat.
Our guide was Sam and he was amazing, he was so knowledgeable about Angkor Wat, even telling us personal stories from growing up in the times of the Khmer Rouge. On top of his knowledge of the temples, he was an amazing photographer too. Our guide Samuth was perfect and he knew all about the best spots and helpt us get all the picture we wanted. We always had water in the car and the driver was also very helpful.
We saw 4 of the famous temples and Watced the ankor wat sunrise which was so beautiful. It was so sureal.

Our Guide Mr Sin was amazing . Very helpful, very kind and gave us information about temples history and also about the life in Cambodia.

The market was interesting, the boat ride to the lake was lovely. The lake itself is beautiful, the houses on stilts are incredible. Nice stop at the floating restaurants to say Hi to the crocodiles too! Our guide Sath was very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. He was very patient with an older couple who had to take their time. Our driver Vuth was professional & made sure we had plenty of ice cold water throughout the trip. We went to all the places we expected and got a fantastic history lesson and the photos to match.
The tour guides Pal and our driver were accommodated all the needs of this trip.

Sam was extremely knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and made the experience very interesting and fun. He knows all the ins and outs of the complex and guided us through a perfect route through all the temples. He was great to talk to and also took amazing photos! Thatha was such a kind driver and it was a pleasure for him to greet us after each stop with a fresh towel, water, and a smile. The van service was a life saver when dealing with the heat throughout the day.
I highly recommend touring Angkor Wat with these two. We learned so much about the history of Angkor Wat, which we would not have been able to do without this tour. I really liked that because we were in a private tour we could sort of go at our own pace which Voath was accommodating to! Our tuk tuk driver also did a great job, always with our cool water after each temple visit!
