Overall, a great half day trip. Absolutely recommend. Left at 1430 and got back to the hotel at 1930.

Picked up from my hotel, about a 40 minute drive to the location with one rest stop to use the bathrooms and a connivence store. Upon arrival we walked around the village and our tour guide gave us a great breakdown of the history, culture, and infrastructure. Note, this is dry season; typically the village is flooded and only get through town by boat, but due to the low tide we are able to walk the entire village. We then boarded a boat to take us through the mangrove. The water was so low we got stuck a few times and had to switch boats. Though it made for a pretty interesting experience and story. We went out on the open water to watch the sun set and stopped at a floating restaurant where they had food available and a crocodile for viewing.

Our tour guide, Chout, was great. He kept us in good company and was sociable throughout the tour with good information.

Did 3 separate biking day trips:

    1. Angkor Wat sunrise and other nearby
    temples.
    2. Temples further afield.
    3. Stilt houses at Tonie Sap and boat ride.

#2 and #3 also included stops at various local farms and industries. All the sights and stops were super interesting. Getting a good look at the countryside in between things is another advantage of a bike tour.

Our guide (Rith) was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. All the arrangements were excellent, including the support vehicle (van or tuk-tuk), fruit breaks, cold drinking water, meals (lunch and/or breakfast), pre-trip communication, plus the bikes and helmets.

Mr Tha was very friendly and informative. Told us lots of local information and a very good driver. Nice clean car and had fresh cold water for us. Made 3 stops on the way that broke up the journey.

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Sam and our driver Thatha. Sam was extremely knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and made the experience very interesting and fun. He knows all the ins and outs of the complex and guided us through a perfect route through all the temples. He was great to talk to and also took amazing photos! Thatha was such a kind driver and it was a pleasure for him to greet us after each stop with a fresh towel, water, and a smile. The van service was a life saver when dealing with the heat throughout the day.

I highly recommend touring Angkor Wat with these two. We learned so much about the history of Angkor Wat, which we would not have been able to do without this tour. Book with Sam and Thatha!

The tour was very well managed by Mr. Sophal, he was also very friendly to communicate with. He was also prepared with cold towels and water which was super great to have on the very hot day. The tuk tuk ride throughout the complex was very scenic and the experience was really good overall.

He Heang was very knowledgeable and a wonderful guide! I learned a lot from him. Sometimes it was a bit hard to understand because of his accent, but that’s not his fault of course.

Beware that a day in Angkor Wat gets extremely hot. So bring enough water!

Great tour! Voath was super knowledgeable, friendly and polite, 10/10 recommend! I really liked that because we were in a private tour we could sort of go at our own pace which Voath was accommodating to! Our tuk tuk driver also did a great job, always with our cool water after each temple visit! Was a really good day, thanks team! 🤠

Great day. Saw some much, and Sambo provided so much knowledge and history.
Lunch was amazing, and there was so much we couldn't eat it all. The bikes were in great condition and perfect for riding around the temples.
