Channy was the perfect host and teacher 😃
The other person that had booked didn't turn up so I was very lucky to have a private class. We went to the market first where Channy explained all about the produce that was on offer then went back to her kitchen to get our hats and aprons on 😃
Ingredients were laid out and she demonstrated how to chop them, then we started cooking. She explained everything as we went along, what ingredients we were putting in and how much to use. It was banana pancakes for dessert but I let her flambe them 😂 and I was useless at cutting carrot flowers 😂 at the end I/we produced a delicious meal. There was way too much food for me, I was sad that I couldn't eat it all but absolutely loved what I did manage to eat ❤️ Channy's cooking class should be on everyone's to do list, I can definitely recommend it 😁🥰

My afternoon at the Lotus Silk Farm was an absolute highlight on my visit to Siem Reap. Learning about the flowers through a tour and then having the most amazing boat ride through the Lotus ponds is something that will stay with me for a really long time. I also participated in some handicraft activities which was really unique and gave me some special souvenirs. Well worth a visit.

Thank you Dee for an amazing morning. we had a fascinating tour of the local market. I took so many photos as there was so much going on. At the school we cooked 3 dishes of our choice and they all tasted amazing. We were given alternative ingredient names so I can recreate at home. We toured Dees garden where she grows her own fruit and veg including bananas and mangos ! I learnt so much and Dee was so friendly x

Excellent activity. From the English speaking tuk-tuk driver to the professionally trained Master Chef the whole experience was amazing. All the ingredients were prepared with personal assistance assembiling the meal. An informative tour of the local village market started the experience.

This was a really fun activity to do! The owner Kim is also inspirational. You learn how different rice wines are made with different infusions then enjoy tasting, following by cocktail making. All the bottles are painted individually by local artists who are deaf. They are passionate about creating jobs for the locals. Highly recommend.

Head to the local market in a Tuktuk to discover local products, vegetables, fish, etc. Back at the hotel, two chefs are waiting for us. Little chef outfit (apron, hat) for me and my friend. On a large table, everything is available for cooking. (local products, spices, herbs, meat, equipment, etc.) explanations of the menu that we will prepare and then eat. Everything is detailed, explained, demonstrated. Then it’s up to us 👩‍🍳😁 Very nice experience that I recommend. First of all for the discovery of products and especially Khmer cuisine. Very well framed. A great discovery activity to get you started in Cambodia. Bravo to the chefs for their professionalism. Good value for money

Sophos provides not only an excellent cooking class—applying his years of experience working as a chef—but also shares insights into Cambodian culture. Walking through the market was also very informative.

We had the best experience ever , a really interesting tour around a local market trying lots of different local foods herbs and a few insects 😂if you wanted to

Then we were taken to the countryside cooking school which is located amongst the rice paddy fields. The class takes place in the outdoor kitchen of the orphanage whilst the children are at school .

We met Ben and the master chef who cooks for the children and had the most informative fun cooking lesson . We cooked in the open fires and the food was delicious .

We were given all the recipes to take home the best experience of our trip to Cambodia . The team are doing such a fabulous job supporting children and giving them a home and a chance of an education .

Don’t hesitate to book this experience and also make a difference at the same time

Thankyou bBen and the team , keep up the amazing work you are doing
