Equal in size to 50 soccer pitches, it is not even in the top 10 largest malls so what do I know! Haha. I really think you have to shop here at least once in your life but in saying that, how many Nike stores can one mall have? There are lots of high-end stores not fit for my bank account and it would seem that some major brands have more than one store in this vast shopping mecca. I think it has the most wonderful book shop I have ever been in (Kinokuniya), and for that I’m giving it a big high five. You can traipse around aimlessly quite easily so if you want to shop or just look, it is definitely a clean, lovely looking mall with lots to see. When you also consider the addition of the aquarium, ice rink, and a vast variety of places to eat, you can easily spend hours here. Quite a good selection of items on available including some better quality. We've been there on numerous instances and never were bothered by anyone. Some people will try to sell you stuff (drinks, tours) but they're not insisting and very polite overall. From the beautiful marina and skyline views to the numerous activities and attractions, there is something for everyone. The marina has a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and cafes to choose from, offering a variety of cuisines and atmospheres. There are plenty of shopping and entertainment spots, ranging from high-end malls to more affordable stores. The marina is also home to several public parks, which are great for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The waterfront promenade is a great place for a stroll or a bike ride, and the marina also offers boat tours and water sports. It took 6 years and 12 billion US dollars to build. It has a monorail running up its spine which ends at the impressive Atlantis Hotel. And, it's not the only man-made island in Dubai. There are several others in various stages of construction. If you want to see it from above, go visit the “View at the Palm”, a 240 meter high viewpoint of the entire island, located on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower Hotel.

* From the vantage points along the Intercontinental Hotel, it’s not possible to see and enjoy both the fireworks and the water show
* No other tourist stuff here
“I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… because the Mrs. Place was eager to the point of desperation to see fireworks, and see then she did.
