I was in Dubai for a week and wanted to spend a relaxing day cruising around so I booked this Musandam Cruise with Top 10 Dubai Tours. Though close, Musansam is much cooler than Dubai and that makes it possible to spend a day outside. The maximum temperature in Dubai was 39℃ while in Musandam only 32℃ haha (end of September).
We were picked from the hotel at 7:30 and arrived in Dibba port at around 11:00. Immigration was smooth, we did not have to wait much.
The boat was spacious and had 2 floors. We could choose whether to sit in the shade or take sunbath. Beach towels as well as drinks (hot and cold) were provided. The stuff was very nice and they tried to make everyone feel comfortable. They even had sickness pills for those who needed. And some people really needed as the boat moved quite a lot during the sailing.
After approx. 45 min of sailing we arrive close a small beach where we could swim, take sunbath or do snorkeling. We could also ride on a speed boat or banana boat! Banana boat was amazing, really adrenaline busting. It was my first time to get on one and I loved it. For the banana boat we were provided life vests but for the speed boat, no. I guess it is not a problem but for people that cannot swim like me it might feel a little uncomfortable in the beginning.
Buffet lunch was served on the big boat. It was really delicious, with various dishes so that everyone can be satisfied at the end. We also got a piece of cake as it was one of the traveler's birthday. I found very nice that the stuff prepared a cake for the celebrated person.
We returned to the port before 3 PM and were dropped at our hotel sometime before 7 PM.
The trip was relaxing and enjoyable but also energy consuming. Make sure to go properly charged hehe
