- Oliver K3 contributionsTook the kayak mangrove tour at Antanara resort Mina al Arab and it was really great! Mohamed and his team are super friendly and helpful. More than one hour kayaking watching lots of flamingos, clear water, fancy jellyfish in kind of a natural and remote location one probably not expect in this part of UAE. 10/10 I was really scared but my instructor Ahmed was really good in making me feel comfortable and double checking things making sure everything is perfect before the dive.
Service:
10:/10 they’re very flexible in giving us the time we wanted. They’re very prompt in answering inquiries I have. I booked the Anantara the world Island SPA Treatment for 2 for Sunday, 2 February, that usually cost 1560 AED. They changed my booking date without any notice or communication. I only discovered the change after making a lot of calls and messages from the location where they were supposed to pick me and my friend up. Despite my efforts, I received no replies or updates from them! This whole situation has cost me money, time, and bonuses, and has completely ruined my mood. - H1235 contributionsWe did two water activities through our hotel, the banana boat & canoeing!
Banana boat - prepared to fall off, a lot!! The boat driver had the two of us clinging on and flying off into the sea. We had a really good length of time on there too and the driver happily slowed things down towards the end!
Canoeing - we did a double one and had the canoe for an hour riding around the palm. Enjoyed some time to relax and be out in the sun.

The sea was super choppy but the guys were great and kept checking on us and our drinks!

We were in a group of four, with a dog, and opted for a donut boat, which was powered by a small engine. The top speed was pretty slow but it was a lovely way to soak up the tranquility of the water and views of the mountains surrounding it.
The whole guest experience was very efficient and included life jackets for all of the humans and even for the dog.
