Alserkal Avenue is a hip enclosed area in Al Quoz. There are a lot of great independent businesses, including fitness centres, food and beverage outlets, cinemas, galleries and more.

There is very limited traffic and lovely open areas to sit and take the world in. Plenty of parking is available outside the perimeter.

There are also regular pop up events and a recurring farmer’s market on Sundays.

A hidden gem of an art gallery, Jameel allows you to get close insights into some of the best contemporary art in the region.

If you thought you knew Arabic art, think again.

I visit now a couple of times the museum, and I love the environment in Al Qouz with all these galleries located in the Alserkal Avenue. It is definitely a visit worth.

Amazing Museum & Gallery has a collection of all their Guinness World Record holding items plus you get to do retail therapy at its best. Went with my girlfriends and we enjoyed every piece they have and end up spending a lot because the diamond and gold jewelry collection they have is pretty amazing

This year was our third visit to the Farjam Collection. Every visit we have seen great art. What we really like is that we discover new artits for us. We're from Germany and Switzerland we have not very often the chance to see in our countries art from the Middle East. On our next trip to Dubai we'll visit this excellent collection again, promised. By the way, there is no fee.

Visiting different art galeries in Dubai you get nice impresion of taste that has to grow. Some galeries show special local, artists, otters just sell post internationale art. The most beautifull galeries combine ancient objecten like wooden farmdoors with contemporary art.

The welcoming staff are happy to provide an intro and show you round the centre. Coach loads of tourists are common. It's worth a visit but don't expect much in the way of arts or cultural enlightenment - it's essentially a large shop and gallery. Worth dropping by on the way to be beach.
