He is very knowledgeable and a constant professional. Not mention when our tour group of over 30 plus women landed he greeted us all with fresh roses. - Raziya H14 contributionsMr Shafi was our guide and he did a great job explaining the history of the Dubai culture. His knowledge was excellent and he answered every question from the group. It was super hot and humid but he did a great job keeping us moving and even had local snacks for us. Our Guide took us on a memorable journey through Dubai’s culinary gems. The mechboos rice was perfectly spiced, and the lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful. The souk was vibrant filled with the scent of spices, dried roses, and rich Arabic coffee. We even picked up fresh saffron and za’atar to bring the taste of Dubai home. On arrival, we were seated and told that service wouldn't begin till 13:00.
Given a glass of sparkling grape juice. Tea menu was extensive.
Lots of sweet items such as scones and tarts. Only a few savoury items. Would have preferred more savoury items. Given a little veg rosti which wasn't that nice. Sandwiches could've been better too.
