The itinerary was flawless and Liubomir did an excellent job taking his time to explain things to our small group. I felt like he went the extra mile and I’m grateful for his diligence and patience.
I actually preferred Koprivshtitsa to Plovdiv and felt like the extended day trip was well-worth the additional money and drive-time.

Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Sofia and looking to visit other sites outside the city. Our guide Ivo was friendly, helpful and so very knowledgeable about the mountains and the history of Bulgaria and the whole Balkans region. The Wonderful Bridges are so much more impressive in real life than in photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed wandering alongside the river, walking the streets of Kosovo and into some of the buildings at the monastery, all the while with Ivo making the history come alive! They were very easy to deal with and professional.
The tour to the wonderful bridges was excellent and so was Bachkovo monastery and Ansen's fortress......well worth doing.

We were picked up from our hotel so we didn't have to rush early in the morning. A stop for a walk around the charming town of Dimitrograd with its many parks and soviet Baroque architecture, a spot of delicious lunch at a pavement cafe (vegi for me) . Next off to the fascinating Plovdiv Museum Of Aviation with its collection of mainly military aircraft.
The trip was around 10 hours , mountains , pretty villages , fields of vines , fields of rose, storks nesting on telegraph poles, horses and carts and bit of Lada spotting. A perfect day out.

The guide was very knowledgeable, accommodating (allowing us to stop several times for photos) and had some great local food suggestions.
