- David WExeter, UK215 contributionsWe had a small group of 8 and I would say we had a good day today with Stjepan our guide. He was very concerned for us generally and was always courteous and helpful. My only concern was his driving. He is a very good driver but regularly drove too close to cars in front and very fast. There were times he exceeded the speed limit. I was also able to notice that he was quite tired when driving. On the way back he also checked his phone, whilst driving in a queue of traffic. I don’t think we were in specific danger, but this wasn’t safe. - Matthew QNew Hope, PA88 contributionsWe made a last minute reservation for the Old Town Walking Tour of Dubrovnik and instantly received a welcoming text message informing us of the details such as when and where to meet. Our guide, Ivo, greeted us with a smile when we arrived, and quickly began to give us a summary of the fascinating history of Dubrovnik. He was more than happy to answer all of our questions. Ivo is incredibly knowledgeable about his Croatia, Dubrovnik and Slavic history. The tour was replete with fascinating details of particular buildings, streets as well as important historical figures. The ninety minutes flew by (Ivo was so generous with his time, that he ran over by more than 20 minutes), and greatly enhanced our enjoyment of Old City Dubrovnik. Me and my partner got engaged on this trip and when we told the staff they stopped the music put on something sweet and romantic and brought us up a bottle of champagne popped it recorded our reaction and made us feel so much love from not just them bit from everyone on the boat! This was followed by a shot of rakia and honestly it was just all so amazing from start to finish couldn't recommend enough! The trip, the crew everything was just absolutely fantastic! - Rachel B2 contributionsWe really enjoyed this tour. The swimming was great and was a beautiful way to see the area. There were loads of fish and the caves were stunning.
We took a 6 and 8 year old, and they were completely fine. All the gear was provided.
The stop at the beach was a lovely way to take a break from swimming.

I pushed back and asked if there was anyway something could be arranged for it to still happen. It got worked out and we ended up with a private tour just the two of us and our tour guide Tea. She was awesome! She knew everyone and everywhere in town. We had delicious appeitzers, a great multi-course meal, wine, gelato for dessert and great conversation throughout. The host was very friendly and we had a nice chat as we paddled round the coast in the sun. We brought a snorkel mask so we could swim round the cove to look at the fish whilst we stopped off at the beach on our lunch break.
