Excellent & Beautiful place full of history & the Naval Academy is a must see especially John Paul Jones' burial site that is guarded.
For example, the Chapel is beautiful, the Crypt of John Paul Jones is very interesting and the chance to view the midshipmen formations for the noon meal is inspirational.

... intact, visited houses from the 1600s and up, learned about the underground railroad and important personalities of those times, visited the naval academy and many other sights, The GEM was super comfortable.
Annapolis is quaint, very clean, very safe, filled with history, great views on a beautiful port, rich with history, great food and drink, etc.

The ride is over the Naval Academy bridge and has great views back onto the Naval Academy as well as visiting both memorials.
The day view from this site is great, but the night view is stunning.

The lighthouse windows and decking provided beautiful views of Annapolis' historic landmarks, sailboats, yachts, and local fishers and crabbers.
It is a wonderful historic artifact and there are weekend boat tours from Annapolis City Dock to view the lighthouse from the water.
