We took the tour instead of walking around on our own and I'm so glad we did. Our tour guide had all kinds of fun stories to tell. Highly Recommend!~

The rooms about Washington, Fredrick Douglas, and Harriet Tubman were the best. Worth spending 30-45 minutes here

I visited here in the fall, and it was delightful. I had a wonderful tour led by a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. The house is stunning, and the gardens are gorgeous. There is a lot to learn here and being that it is right in the heart of Annapolis it's a must see.

Just discovered this delightful park, a stone's throw from Historic Annapolis. $6 entry fee required to enter but the staff at the entrance could have been a little more friendly. When I asked questions about the park, about the history, wildlife and when it opened, the woman didn't seem to know. Strange. She works at the park and yet knows nothing about it. 350-acre park, lots of places to roam and great deer habitat, although my girlfriend and I didn't see any, but it was our first visit. Great birding opportunities, especially around the water. Never seems crowded even though quite a few people were in the park. I like that feeling of isolation. Has a Dog Beach where people can take their pets for a dip. Not crazy about that as I am not a dog person. Still exploring other parts of the park so eventually may give this park 5-stars. Many buildings to explore and there is even an art gallery available.

A cool place to check out while in Annapolis. There is always something going on here. There are street performers, live music, people watching to take in. This is a very historic part of Annapolis. It is a very beautiful place to spend some time.

The docent for the tour provided many facts about the family's history who lived there. Some original furniture.. Had Christmas decorations. An interesting design of decorations and the house.

This very interesting church is a Catholic congregation served by the Redemptorist Order. Pleasant interior and lovely surroundings. Great stop for a prayer and meditation.

My husband planned a wonderful and memorable birthday celebration for me which included tours of African American sites in Annapolis. One tour was this incredible museum. What made the experience memorable was the private tour led by Mr. LeRonn Herbert, a member of the administrative team at the museum. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and expertise were impeccable. We learned so much about the important historical figures who are among the heroes and heroines of African American history and how their courage and tenacity made our liberation possible. Depending on your current knowledge of African American history, you may or may not need a guide. If you need a private guide, please request Mr. Herbert.

Two friends and I rode the B&A (Baltimore & Annapolis) trail this past Wednesday. From the start of the trail off Dorsey Rd we headed out. The trail is nice, all paved and is a nice mix of wooded sections, nieghborhoods, and buisness. The technical end of the trail comes about three miles shy of Annapolis and covers 14.7 miles by our odometer. You can ride along a roadway on a large shoulder to get to Annapolis but we chose not to do it this time. I very much liked this trail with gentle hills and only a few road crossings. There is also a section where a few buisnesses just off the trail have set up tables and we stopped and had ice cream. I will return again for sure.
